"You need to go get a health screening and make a point of asking your doctor to look into whether or not this is a broader cardio issue and not just a limp noodle issue."

There are other health issues and medications that can affect a man's performance. Eliminate those concerns first.

I don't see anyone suggest you ask her to give you umm..how do you say this...an assist with the situation. Maybe the hammer just needs a little more personal attention.

Dr. Jekyl, you made me laugh! Hard! Oh, wait, I'll bet I shouldn't have said that, huh? Just brings back memories for you of when it wasn't. I'm soooo sorry. Sounds like you have a great sense of humor, though, so I'll just bet you won't have much trouble replacing the pity lady with someone who's willing to travel this journey with you. And what's wrong with the little blue pills? Hey, if they work......

Heh, I'm 30 and have had "failure to launch" on my last two encounters. However, it was the absolute hottest sex of my life. It was so good I can't stop thinking about it, and I know she enjoyed it. I'm having mental performance anxiety (I REALLY wanted to launch) but I think I was just too excited.

I certainly don't need pills as it stayed up and ridiculously hard the whole time (all 6 of her launches), so that isn't it, I think I may have just gone a little overboard on kegels. I'd suggest looking into doing them, I try to do them regularly, but forget them. Additionally I do other "penile health" exercises and so far I think they work. I'm enjoying it more than ever even though I'm not getting to the finish line.

I also know, after discussing it that she's the one worried about it, she doesn't think I should be.

"any hammer progress....I need to know before our next tryst!"

The "hammer" did in fact launch later that night. But one can't help but wonder if this is just the beginning of alot of failures. Once it starts it's hard to stop i would imagine.

Kinda like a car that stalls on ya....ya never quite trust it again.

You poor, pitiful thing. Now you're gonna have to rely on your charm ! !

But I gotta feelin' there's lots more good times "a head" of ya (pun intended)

Hey...good luck !

At least ya know it works......for a while.

(ya know I'm just playin' with ya, I hope )

Jekyll

As you indicated there is no correct responses to your "issue". If she screamed and thrown you to the curb, my guess you wouldn't have like that either.

You know what the cowboys would do. After being thrown from the horse, you must quickly get back into the saddle. Don't concentrate on the past performance.

Hang in there, man, after my stroke not only did my rocket fail to launch, I think NASA rolled it back to the hanger and disassembled it!

There are still a lot of ways for both of you to reach orbit!

One "failure" and you're ready to take pills? They aren't without side effects - don't jump the boat on this one! You're lucky you're over 40 when this first happened! Give yourself a break....not all women expect you to "perform" 100% of the time...and you DO have hands and a tongue, right? And since a lot of women don't orgasm at every sexual engagement, you'll live with the occasional "blank" as well...buck up, everything will be fine.

It really amazes me that if a man cant get the noodle stiff the fun has to stop and he cant go down town and satisfy the woman. why does it all have to be about him and not her needs..........................???
HOw about trying one day just focussing on her wet tunnel and soak it all up and leave your noodle out of it.

Oh, how well I remember my first time there was a "failure to launch" as you say !! Even the second, third, and fourth bothered me. And yes, I was about 42 then, now I am 60, and have had more failures, and even more successes, but my SO and I enjoy our time together so much that we just do our thing, and if it then great, but if it then thats great too. After all, there are more ways to enjoy making love than , and of course, there's always Mr. Reliable No sadness here, no thoughts of ending it all, most of all because my "yang" is part of me, I am not part of my "yang" !!!!

Where the hell did that come from?, what kind of men have you been dating?.

SEx is never all about the mens needs or all about the womans needs. It all about mutual satisfaction. If done correctly BOTH needs should be met. Anyone thinking it's all about them is just selfish and need to go have sex with themselves.

Dude, it's not the end of the world. There are a few factors that you need to keep into consideration. For instance, are you physically active, do you run, cycle. Do you have high blood pressure? So think about those. Second, when you were with your partner, had you had a lot to drink? Alcohol can hinder performance. So if you know you are going to do it, slow down on the drinks, even have a cup of coffee. Also, how well does this woman stimulate you. Now, I am not going to use the blame it on her thing, but some women can be so pushy or demand so much, that the hammer suddenly become a limp bisket.

Now you can get some prescription stuff, viagra, cialis and others. I can't tell you anything about them, since I've never done them. But some of the ladies here swear by them.

Just remember, if you have cardio vascular problems, this is where it's going to show. So start with your blood pressure and go from there. Also, get over the stage fright. Have your woman work on you nicely, but with no pressure to perform. What may happen is that all of the sudden hammertime comes back and you're back to your old self.

Funny thread, thanks. You'll need that humor when 50+ comes your way. 40 is still PRIME stuff for the ladies.

Hey,,,most women including myself would be questioning ME,,,and I have been with men that it just dont work,,,that is okay,,,they use other things,,,and that dear SIR is sometimes better,,,then we are both satisfied,,,and if the curly-Q Fry is still not reacting,,,I bet it gets some pleasure when it is still sucked and licked on, and if it gets a good stroking.
