Posted: 1/16/2008 9:47:05 PM | Manoman...tried mass-mailing everyone who signed up for the WRECKER...must've sent to EVERY DAMN POFer from here to Florida and beyond. I aint gonna try it again, so I will post on here...
Just wanted to say thanks for signing up and participating in this get-together. I know it is going to be a blast...from what we're going to remember anyways. If all goes well, then there may be more WRECKERS to be seen in the future...here's hoping
At first I was going to get a gift certificate for $200 from M&M Meat Shops, but then I remembered that Valentine's Day is just around the corner. Therefore I have purchased and donated a $200 gift card from The Keg as one of the 2 major door prizes for the WRECKER. I figured that a nice romantic meal out might have been more appreciative for Valentine's instead of a freezer of food. As you have read NORMALLYINSANE has also arranged for a one-hour massage to be donated as well. On top of these prizes, it has been confirmed tonight with the management of the Country Roads that the bar will have prizes of t-shirts and hats, various bar swag and Fabutan tanning minutes...I have no idea what the hell swag is, but guess we'll find out...methinks it is something like grog(???). If you know, please inform me...LOL. As well, on top of all THAT (geez...I feel like Bob Barker and the Price Is Right), our little sweetie NORMALLYINSANE is making up little gift bags, REDNECK STYLE. Now all door prizes will work on a raffle concept...NORMALLYINSANE and myself will have 50/50 type tickets to hand out to everyone at the WRECKER (no charge, of course).
After much discussion, it had been decided that we will stop handing out these tickets at 11:00 pm Sat night, and start drawing for the door prizes soon after, with The Keg gift card and the massage being the last draws approximately at 12:30 that night. And yes, you do have to be present WITH TICKET IN HAND to win. Needless to say but I will anyways, there will only be 1 ticket per person allowed. If you win a smaller door prize, your ticket WILL GO BACK IN the draw to win the larger prizes.
3 days away and counting...just wanted to take this opportunity to update everyone of the going ons for the WRECKER. For all of those coming from out of town, please drive safe on the highways..

I did the mass email last March for the same location, ended up having lots of people attend that had not known about it as they normally didn't check the forums to see what events were going on.
The mass email indicates only those that are signed up, but when I did it, an email went to over 300 people!! Oh well, now for sure we will have a good turn out.
Since shawn is back, you better empty the bladder early papabear, and wear your best buster type mustache, as I am sure there will be a few cleavage drinks for you!!
The bar does impose a cover charge after 9:00 so be there before that and as mentioned above, the only cost is your drinks, others you may decide to buy for and those that you buy adn don not get a chance to drink cause you are away from them having fun!!
Oh and eat before you go there, as some of the food is costly, but edible. Which reminds me Terry, got milk, as it protects tne lining of that protuberance you call a belly!! | |

Best way to meet new fun people is to get out and participact in these things!! Well, most of us are fund, then we have these rich people who live out of town and say they have no money to get into town with, heck, they don't even wear shoes (when dancing)!! | |

Well, FINALLY answered all 75 (and probably more to come) mails that I got about the WRECKER...good news is over 75% of them are interested in showing up and partying.
DAMN...I'll have to do this "accident" again for the next wrecker...hinthint
