Posted: 7/2/2005 10:39:05 AM | My friend is now doing fine, took one heck of a hit tho, but is ok. Just a little banged up is all and still feeling it. But I am glad, I saw him yesterday and hung out with him for a bit.
Never Say Never,
Never say never to any sort of thing,
You don't know what the future will bring,
It could bring plenty of happiness and love,
Or death could cause you to go above,
Never say never to those you care about,
You might just lose them and have doubt,
You don't want to lose those that care,
Because when you want them, they won't be there,
Never say never to those that you love,
Sent to you from up above,
They are a special gift to have in any life,
Even when it's full of strife. | |

Is it ok to want to cry,
Because you hurt and want to die,
No one can take away the pain,
And the tears fall down like rain,
No one is there to hold you tight,
And to tell you it will be alright,
Is it ok to feel this way,
Even though tomorrow is a different day,
Tears still flowing down like rain,

Because I haven't heard from you in so long,
I cared for you more then I did the rest,
When I was with you I tried my best,
I wanted you to be the one for me,
You took away my sadness and made me happy,
Tell me what I have done wrong with you,
To make you leave me for someone new,
My heart is in a heck of a lot of pain,
And I can feel the tears fall down like rain,
I had feelings for you and I thought you knew,
Because of the way I acted towards you,
Those feelings are slowly drifting away,
And to you I am running out of things to say,
Why do you make me hurt so bad inside,
Knowing that these tears are for you that I've cried. | |

He wasn't worth my time of day,
No one needs to treat me that way,
No matter who they tend to be.
I don't care if they didn't like what they see,
But that is who I am inside and out,
Soon they will realize what I'm about,
And hopefully come back, if not oh well.
It would be their loss and someone else's gain,
Soon that empty void will be no more,
The beholder will see what is in store,

I grab my mirror and begin to stare,
Letting my mind wander to somewhere,
Looking at the reflection of me,
Dreaming of where I would rather be,
I see myself in a castle that would be mine,
Where I would wear clothes that are rather fine,
Only the best silks and robes I would wear,
That would make everyone stop to stare,
I would also wear a crown of gold upon my head,
That would contain rubies of the deepest red,
Upon my wrist I wear a bracelet of sapphires and gold,
That was passed to me which never shall be sold,
I rule this castle alone since my king has died,
The courters I shoo off no matter how hard they tried,
They don't want me they want my land and riches,
That always leaves me up in stitches,
I am the queen and I do have my own choice,
It's about time I raise my voice,
With the courters gone I slam the castle door,
And I tell the guards no more, no more,
I shall rule this castle alone! | |

The air is filled with the scent of rain,
They sky is filled with a lot of pain,
I hear thunder and I see lightning flash,
I also hear some fireworks crash,
Its gonna storm here I can sure tell,
But it will also cool things off as well,
It was oftly hot here today,
Thank goodness for this storm I'd say,
I was thinking of running out in the rain,
But the neighbors would think I'm insane,
I truely don't really give a care,
If others just want to stop and stare,
I am out having tons of fun,
And I won't come in till the rain is done,
Thank goodness for this summer storm. | |

It washes away all the hurt and the pain.
Oh how I love the smell and the sound,
as lightning and thunder crash all around.
I wish it would rain here, we haven'nt had any rain in over two weeks.
It's been hotter than hell, so I can sympathise.

It's nearing the end of the Forth of July,
And the storm is nearly done,
I look outside and I can still see,
Nature still having some fun,
I see a bolt of lightning flash in the sky,
And I can hear some fireworks still,
But nothing beats nature's grand show,
Leaving me with quite a thrill. | |

When hope is lost,
They come to your rescue,
It is the rescuing smile,
Or the rescuing hug.
It doesn't matter what time of the day,
But they are there,
When you see that world has gone awry towards you,
They have not,
They are there for you when you world has seeped into darkness.
They do not ask for anything back,
A simple grasp of the hand to know that you're alive,
Or an appreciative smile is all that is needed.
These type of people hard short in supply.
To have one, It takes years to create one,
But only seconds to lose one because of lies and mistrust.
When you least expect it, They can become an Angel,
But they also known by another name. . . .

Waking up I hear the sounds of rain,
Falling out side my window pane,
It makes such a peaceful sound,
As it falls all around,
If it rained during the night,
It would lull me to sleep just right,
Nothing beats a morning rain,

Will you be there if I start to feel sad?
Can you take this sadness away to make me glad?
Would you hold me tight to tell me it will be okay?
And will you listen to all I have to say?
Will you dry all the tears that I cry?
And not yell at me when I at least try?
Would you at least try what I cook?
And not give other women that look?
Can you take my heart and don't break it?
Will we make up when we have a fit?
This one came to me most of the day, and I know it is all questions, hence the title. | |

I sit here fighting off the chills,
Thinking of how many wonderful thrills,
I could receive from him that night,
That would be a wonderful sight,
He leans over and gives me a kiss,
That puts me in a heavenly bliss,
My body becomes numb,
My heart beating like a drum,
He slaps my bumm and up we run,
Into my room to have some fun,
He removes my clothes and begins to stare,
At me standing there naked and bare,
I remove his clothes and begin to look,
He looks like a page right out of a book,
Our bodies are filled with passion unmeasured,
But being with him is something to be treasured,
He lays me down upon my bed,
And places a pillow under my head,
We make love until we begin to sweat.
I guess I needed a break for a day. lol. | |

Probably thinking that I am a crook,
I just wish you weren't there,
As I stare at you with a dirty look,
Why did you have to drink?
Do you even care that I worry about you?
I bet you probably didn't even think.
Sry this one sounds kinda mad, that's cause I am, once again my dad decided to drink. I am so worried about him I don't know what else to do. | |

The Horror of Today
Our hearts sank to the bottom of our stomachs,
When we turned on the news this morn,
To hear detonation and destruction,
And also the lives that have been lost,
And those that were also wounded,
Could this be another terrorist attack?
From trying to help in the war,
What have the innocent done,
To be caught up in this horror?
Their lives have been lost,
And I pray for their families,
That they will make it through,
Hopefully this war shall be won soon,
And I ask myself,
How many innocent must die,
Before peace is once again restored. | |
