Holden on to you love bound in view Yet behind the scene is a life less mean
I try to follow your love I try to hold your glove I try to understand your truth with faith my only proof
Dear Father oh how I love Dear Father lend me your glove
For I am not strong and do some things wrong That is why I am holden on to you
Jesus the one I love so hand me your glove For without you is a life less true
His hand I hold today His hand I hold come what may His hand I hold to pray with faith each and every day
Such an honour to give yours is the way to live Not that I do not fail as idle thoughts sail
This is why I desire to try Knowing what to do holden on to you
Composed as the text of a Hymn
“Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it” Acts 2: 24 KJV

| Poetry Collection Posted: 7/12/2005 9:39:08 PM | 2900 From His Life 29 June 2003
From His life they took the world away From His life they took it all
In His spirit He felt our pain In His spirit He became the Comforter in name
From His life He gave us love From His life He ascended above
Our Savior in Christ From His life He lived on Earth From His life His sacrifice gave us true value and worth
“If ye love me, keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.” John 14: 15-18 KJV

Sorry if we woke you in the middle of the night, But someone in your neighborhood is fighting for his life. Sorry if we block the road and make you turn around, But there's been a bad wreck with dying children on the ground. When you see us coming we hope you'll understand, Let us have the right-of-way - someone needs a helping hand. Sometimes a child is choking, sometimes a broken leg. Sometimes a heart stops beating, and when we get there it's too late. So if you see us crying when we think that we're alone, You'll know we had a "bad" one and we're feeling mighty down. We don't do it for the money, not much do we get paid, We don't do it for the glory, but for a life that might be saved. Somewhere deep within us our souls are crying out, "We're here to help our neighbors in their hour of pain and doubt." God gave us something special to help us see you through, We do it 'cause we love you, and we care about you too.

| Poetry Collection Posted: 7/13/2005 2:22:07 AM | 1285 Holden is the Word 04 June 2001
I know that thou canst do all I ask or desire That my thoughts are not withholden from thee
Yet thou has given me hope and a shield of salvation With an outstretched hand holden to my imagination
For thou hast holden me by my right hand To guide me with thy counsel towards the rock over the sand
My own injustices a natural product of man In creation holden with cords a summation of God’s great plan
An understanding of His love upholden by an unfeigned charity Thus saith the LORD to those who listen “I have holden” to open in parity
Although your eyes were holden in a restraint void of spirit As God hath raised up Christ within the realms of an atonement lit
And gifted to be holden an eternal life made possible through great sacrifice Who are thou that judgest another for they shall be holden up in Christ
For God is able to make thou stand nevertheless this is your choice A double minded man unstable in all his ways to rejoice
Be ye doers of the word beholdeth to thyself And goeth his way towards riches higher than wealth
The word: “holden” as featured in the scriptures of the King James version of the Holy Bible becomes the foundation of this psalm: From both the Old Testament and New Testament the journey is beholden upon God’s word from the likes of: “withholden” (Job 42: 21); and “holden” (Psalms 18: 35; 73: 23; Proverbs 5: 22; Isaiah 45: 1; Luke 24: 16; Acts 2: 24; Romans 14: 4). All “beholdeth” (James 1:24) in a unity of expression “upholden” (Proverbs 20: 28) to God’s glory.
“The spirit of man is the candle of the LORD, searching all the inward parts of the belly. Mercy and truth preserve the king: and his throne is upholden by mercy. The glory of young men is their strength: and the beauty of old men is the gray head. The blueness of a wound cleanseth away evil: so do stripes the inward parts of the belly.” Proverbs 20: 27-30 KJV
1438 A Revolutionary Concept 11 November 2001
Is it that worship often confronts a different chariot Surpassed since man discovered the wheel
Circumventing from times of leonine opportunism To obtain an ideal transfer towards man
The mighty beast projecting thought More justified than a tawny rebellion
Rolling forth in getting from A to B Bringing about the invention of the Sunday drive
"IN the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (John 1: 1 KJV) Thou hast also given me . . . thy salvation: and thy right hand hath holden me up, and thy gentleness hath made me great. (Psalms 18: 35 KJV) But the mountain shall be thine; . . . though they have iron chariots, and though they be strong. (Joshua 17: 18 KJV) . . . and what is stronger than a lion?. . ." (Judges 14: 18 KJV)
The Holden "lion and stone" badge first used in Australia the 1920’s represents the legend of man’s invention of the wheel. Said to have come to pass after a primitive man watched a lion rolling a stone under its paw.
Updated this badge is still in use by Holden Limited, the Australian arm of USA Corporate giant, General Motors. The first Holden emblem however was a life-size wooden horse which stood above the entrance of the Holden & Frost Saddlery works in Adelaide (South Australia) formed in 1885.

Since man has walked this Earth, I have always been here, I can bring a smile to a wounded spirit, I am a random act of kindness.
I live like an infectious disease, Those who cross my path, I infect them, Eventually we will meet, In good and bad circumstances I am known.
I appear out of nowhere, Whence I came, It is the same place I go. The more you use me, The more people will know me, I never ask for anything in return, Those are the rules. I am selfless in my acts.
Therefore all I ask is for you to return the favor, Seek nothing in return, In threefold you shall receive Your reward, But when and where I can not tell you, It may be now or at the end of time.
I am the rescuing act in times of madness, I am the rescuing gesture in times of great confusion, I am the rescuing hug that brings comfort,
Some do not understand, Some think I seek secretly, When all I seek is the spread of who I am, No rewards I seek or treasures I ask for, Simply, I am here for all.
I am a random of kindness. .

| Poetry Collection Posted: 7/13/2005 3:49:35 PM | Taken for granted or left for dead, the downward spiral begins in one's head. Instant gratification has become th number one rule, something avoided if they would teach it in school. Social rampage has taken it's toll, all that most seek is complete control. Anger and rage has taken the floor, no one accepts others for themselves anymore. To find romance and happiness, this I tell you is true. Allow your partner to be themselves, and respect will come back to you.

The process is painful just to look upon her soul Yet she is just as innocent in this role
A love unrequited in where it was placed Nevertheless up to this reality has been faced
Deep within being an entity of hope that this is not true For desire has a place even when the feeling are there to renew
Selfish in an outcome born by poles apart But to see her is to undermine a fragile heart
"Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth [boasts] not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoice in truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things." 1 Corinthians 13: 4-7 KJV [word in brackets added]

You see it flash in mid air, But when you look it's not there, Then it flashes somewhere new, Flying towards you in full view, Now you can see it flash its light, Just a sign that it's almost night, When all you see is just the dark, They flash like a tiny spark, To tell you that they are still there, Just a small part of nature's flare.

The fire fly lights its tale For to call its mate And if the flash attracts Then it all owed to fate But if the light fails To send out the spark It’ll always know It’ll find it in the dark

778 To My Daughter 06 July 2000
To my daughter I write here late at night Your are late in coming home as I wait here alone
For not yet born is the sum your mother an elusive one Why she is not out front has been the cost of many a stunt
When love is not exactly nice because it comes at a price A father in waiting be this is elating
Time has a way of healing wounds even when there are many soons Perhaps tomorrow will be the day so I continue for her to pray
“We pray for the daughters of Zion. May they be preserved in virtue, chastity, and purity of life, be blessed with vigorous bodies and minds, and with great faith. May they develop into true womanhood and receive choice companions under the new and everlasting covenant for time and all eternity in thy temples provided for this priceless privilege and purpose. May they too be privileged to enjoy as the fruits of their union a noble posterity which, we pray thee, may be taught at their mother’s knee to believe in thee and in the divine mission of thy Beloved Son.” (President George Albert Smith, dedicatory prayer of the Idaho Falls Temple, USA[23 September 1945]; The Improvement Era, October 1945, 563)
817 Parenting 16 July 2000
To hold you in my arms and protect from each day harms So small at first as she grows in thirst
A babe to love and adore this daughter forever more Such a longing of desire to baptise with fire
Olivia her name if that I can claim An adorable being beautiful and keen
Yet it cannot be until her mother I do see Love found in heart and I can’t wait to start
“Behold, . . . I am ready to come to you; and I will not be burdensome to you: for I seek not yours, but you: for children ought not to lay up for parents, but the parents for the children. And I will very gladly spend and be spent for you; though the more abundantly I love you, the less I be loved.” 2 Corinthians 12: 14-15 KJV
899 Free to Dream 04 August 2000
Hair of gold, eyes of blue as far as looks go, I am sold The beauty more truly hidden and her presence somehow forbidden
This woman to behold in a moment openly to unfold Her smile of joyous grace upon her angelic face
Then dreams are said to be free over a love in charity of thee Oh how I continue to await her arrival onward to endure in survival
A mother, a daughter a father and son This family sealed up as one Of the sacred ceremony to beholden to the day it does come true.
“Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away. For we know in part, and we prophecy in part. But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is part shall be done away. 1 Corinthians 13: 7-10 KJV
1103 Olivia 21 September 2000
I want to be there when you are born for me that will be something to adorn I want to be there as you begin to walk as I await the moment you start to talk
I want to be there to hear your first word and watch you grow each third I want to be there to hold you in my arms in comfort in protecting you from harms
I want to wipe away your first tear and celebrate your birthday each year I want to hear your first cry and let you know I am near by
I want to embrace you as you grow with the love I long to show I want to know you more than anything when into my world God does bring
“And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.” Malachi 4: 6 KJV

4093 Valve Train Happening 15 July 2005
Her angel eyes her beauty in looks Just one word like those in books
As if a computing underestimate locks away this soul - blondness to heart Slow at the beginning to start
Where Detroit and Windsor hale in essence of vee eight Complete with cubic inches bored and stroked in fate
Ann Arbor to Westland along the mighty Ford Road In general to motors into Wayne County of abode
"for Cat's"
While there are times, the impossible can be ignored—or given off as being foolhardy, US automotive manufacturer GM founder William Crapo Durant was shown to be no finance man. When he merged the success of the Buick Motor Car Co. with Oldsmobile and several other small, financially unstable operations to form the General Motors Co. in 1908, Durant was seen to be as much a dreamer as an entrepreneur.
As GM proceeded to expand in adding new businesses to this empire, Durant was regarded as an unabashed shopaholic. The company weathering the storms much better than its founder did, growing to become the world's largest industrial concern. William Crapo Durant died broke in 1947
In contrast to GM—Henry Ford created the first inexpensive mass-produced automobile - the Model T - and revolutionized an industrial world by developing and refining assembly line manufacturing. In 1903 the Ford Motor Company was founded, and in 1908 Ford introduced the Model T. By 1924 10 million Model T cars had been sold and Detroit was to become the auto-making capital of America. Ford remained one of the country's most famous and influential businessmen until his death in 1947.
