Indigo Dreams

04 June 2003

Those indigo dreams
on a purple sea
A righteousness of obscurity
Where destination was but the journey

Power oh power
the division of ten percent
Like a sun blotted out
in a parody of yester-year

Far from unclear skies
left in a mushroom of purity
To ask the question
what was war good for

If people were going to die
buildings were going to be destroyed
As if living beyond the first shot
was but an after thought

Above the sky blood red on the horizon
of an orange and green glow
Had it been a mistake to light the fuse
No one would ever know as
any answer was ashes to the wind

Surrounded in a pool of
indigo dreams
In anything but a stillness
upon a purple sea

“Forsake the foolish, and live; and go in the way of understanding”
Proverbs 9: 6 KJV

“Riches profit not in the day of wrath:
but righteousness delivereth from death.”
Proverbs 11: 4 KJV

There is a woman that I dream of. Her heart is so warm that it caresses you like the sun every time she enter the room. And when she leaves you could not help but count the seconds until she return. Her beauty would be equal Inside and out. And if questions like where be the safest place to keep your heart. I Would be simply reply in the cradle of her hands. I find that no matter what train of thought my mine takes the tracks always lead back to her this woman She would be the type of person that would invades my thoughts like a enchanting cool breeze that rushes down some postcard street. You hear it, you feel it you even smell it . That gives me hope, No It gives faith like the feeling you get when you sit under a wepping willow tree. That the world isn’t such a bad place . And Yes one day your heart will find peace. Now this is only one mans dream or fantasy, the key is knowing when to wake from dream before she passes like that cool breeze. So I guess like a boy sitting under a giving tree I will wait and hope that one day I will catch my breeze

The skin Im in
Is delicate like porcelain
Im not as tough as I may seem
Only in my wildest most vivid dream
I can bend enough to break
Im fallible
Im not a fake
I have a heart
Beating black and blue
There are so many things Id love to see
But the day is much too new
I have a mind
Thats undefined
By the existance of the obvious
Ive finally cut the puppet strings
That sometimes can confine us
Ill never be a person
Stuck in the same place
Do you dream with that same smile
I see shining on your face?
Do you encapsulate all the colors
You see in a sunset
Have we reached the pinnacle
Our ship has not yet set sail
The skin Im in is comfortable
It fits just right for me
it hides the dreams Im dreaming
So deep inside of me

Girl..no worries..Youll get your writing groove back soon.I was in a bit of a slump for awhile:)I love ya megs!Mwah

Can someone wipe my tears I'm about to cry,
Because my heart is filled with pain,
I cannot fight the tears that are burning my eyes,
And these feelings I cannot explain,
I truely don't know why I feel so sad,
It might be because no one is here for me,
To come cheer me up,
Or to keep me company,
So these tears start falling on their own.

I'm a bit down right now, catch ya'll later.

Certitude in Depart

07 August 2005

To do or not to do the task
making a promise to soul in loss
Then breaking in essence of accord
For where was the honour or trust
to gather in judgement over good or bad
Or was evil a feeling of being sad

On a day of awakening
centred upon opposing thought
To do the deed in hope to travail
only finding a capture was caught

So either such promise was secondary
toward what was true grace in spirit
Empty yet open in kind to heart
For was this more the reality of truthfulness
in a moral certitude of intention given
As God and the Devil fight this balance
in embers of amber encased in depart

"I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would
thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and
neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth"
Revelation 3:15–16 KJV

Bridge Over Troubled Water
Art Garfunkel

When you're weary, feeling small,
When tears are in your eyes, I will dry
them all;
I'm on your side. When times get rough
And friends just can't be found,
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down.
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down.

When you're down and out,
When you're on the street,
When evening falls so hard
I will comfort you.
I'll take your part.
When darkness comes
And pain is all around,
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down.
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down.

Sail on silvergirl,
Sail on by.
Your time has come to shine.
All your dreams are on their way.
See how they shine.
If you need a friend
I'm sailing right behind.
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will ease your mind.
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will ease your mind.

My Friend

13 May 2005

She said - I am strong
and strong willed in mind
Yet she was also stubborn
gentle - sweet and kind

I am independent
but I don't like being alone
I live with my children
as kingdom to my throne

I am here for friendship
I have a great ear
soft shoulders and
a woman's understanding

My friend in soul
my friend in need
My friend I adore
and of happiness feed

"And it came to pass, when he was come near . . . , Behold
now, I know that thou art a fair woman to look upon: Say,
I pray thee, thou art my sister: that it may be well with me
for thy sake; and my soul shall live because of thee."
Genesis 12: 11, 13 KJV

There is a man I dream of when ever I close my eyes,
He is always there when ever I need to talk,
Or to comfort all of my fears,
And he promised me that he would never walk,
When ever I felt alone he was there,
To tell me how much he truely cared,
Because of what we have together,
And our love that we shared,
The right one for me is out there in this world,
I just have to find this man of my dreams,
Once I do I know everything will be alright,
No matter how long the search seems.

Given Unfeigned

09 August 2005

That man is out there
His name is Christ
He walks with you
each day hand in hand
and all you need do is pray

An answer - a notion
given in unfeigned love
His soul within you to that
encasement of spirit to glove

He asks for little
when He gives you all
This understanding of sacrifice
in balance of each time you fall

Who is this man whom gave to you
this Saviour of salvation to rest in faith
His understanding and kindness
blessed be thy name is grace

"Some indeed preach Christ even of envy and strife; and some also
of good will: The one preach Christ of contention, not sincerely,
supposing to add affliction to my bonds: But the other of love,
knowing that I am set for the defence of the gospel. For I know that
this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer, and the supply of
the Spirit of Jesus Christ, According to my earnest expectation and my
hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as
always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it
be by life, or by death. For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain."
Philippians 1: 15-17, 19-21 KJV

If I Could

If I could reach out and touch the stars,
I would spell out how much you mean to me,
And I would also put them in my hair,
So I can sparkle only for you to see.

If I could reach my arms out to you,
I would hold onto you,
Just to show you how much I care,
Because I will be there to see all you do.

If I could see your face,
I would greet you with a smile,
One that you would truely enjoy,
Because our time together is truely worthwhile.

If I could sing you a song,
It would be full of love,
Just my way of showing you how much you mean to me,
And it would sound like an angel from above.

If I could kiss your lips,
It would be a kiss that is so passionate and sweet,
One that would leave you weak in the knees,
And also sending shivers down to your feet.

If I could make love to you,
It would be something you wouldn't regret.

Untitled

He comes home work,
He is tired, He is hungry,
He is alone,
This is his routine everyday.

His home is a mess,
He does not know where is life is going,
He only lives one day at a time,
Years before he was full of energy,
But it has somehow been lost,
He does not know why.
He wonders sometimes, is this how life supposed to be?

He looks around his home,
From the corner of his eye he sees a pictures,
It is the picture of his mother when she was married,
It is a black and white picture, saved over the years.

He looks at the picture,
The first thing he notices is his mother's smile,
That smile he remembers,
It is the same smile when she would say goodbye to and send him off to school,
It is the same she welcomed him with each day from school,
It is the same smile that she proudly had when he graduated he received his degree.

When she became ill,
The smile whithered away,
Each day, disease took away parts of her smile and turned it to a sad person,,
And than, her smile was no more, She has gone to Heaven.

He holds that picture of her,
He remembers times when he did not do things to make her happy,
But still she kept that smile and she always knew he was sorry.

His only comforting thought is that he has that picture,
He has that picture of his mother to remind him of her smile,
The smile that kept him going when he was not well,
The smile that she always had when he made her proud.

Tears descend his cheek,
He wishes how he can tell her he loves her so,
He wishes to hold her once more and say thank you,
He longs for her soft comforting words of wisdom,
For presently these challenging times of loneliness and despair for him,

He cries uncontrollably, he calls out for his mother,
He needs her so much now, If only she was there,

As he cries, upon his right shoulder a hand is placed,
It is the hand of is mother, She is there with him,
She utters of comfort to him, Slowly his tears dry,
He is sleepy, He places her picture back on the wall,
He lays on his couch, He sleeps and she sits in front of him,
She caresses his head like a mother would caresses her child,
She rests her head and she begins to dream with him,
He dreams and he sees her, She carries that smile with her,
She hold him tightly, He cries to her as if he has done something wrong,
He holds him and tells him in the comforting words he longed to hear,
I am here now, It's going to be okay, do not cry my child, its going to be okay,
With that he dreams, and she leaves him with that memory, and parting words,
It is going to be okay, it is going to be okay, do not worry.
As he sleeps he has a smile that can only be described as a gift from above,
For he knows. . . .its going to be okay. . .

Inspriation can be a wonderful feeling Cats and of that I must have about 5 poems now
that in its own way, you were my source of inspiration. If either through the reading of one of your poems or in getting to know you and of you Cats. So remember what you do may have an influence on another and never give up the talents you have - because for sure there are other talents you will discover and other reasons to be who you are.

WOW
Thats how
I would describe the events
That sent me
Skipping with joy
Laughing out loud
Head in the clouds
Life you see
Is both wonderful and free
When you have days like today
What more is there to say
Except................
I wish this for everyone
To play along
To sing this song
To belong to the Club called

Joy with Joy

09 March 2003

To have joy with Joy
to be with June in the
month of her name
To feel a happiness where
there was no shame

Living a life surrounded
by His love in harmony
In love with more than
any dissatisfying dream

Living a life where there
always was a tomorrow
And the two of us
in a unified team

With children of the heart
blessed to celebrate Christmas Day
To have joy with “Joy”
come what may

Joy in Joy
Faith beside Faith
and a destiny looking
towards God’s star

Man on the Moon
celestial in being there
Man upon the planet Earth
and his journey to be near and far

Alone but not seeing
this was where you stand
For holding you close was
a touch of the Lord’s hand

Joy in Joy
Faith beside Faith
On a heavenly body
growing from young to old
Thus in His eyes the true
destination was told

“An now, verily, verily, I say unto thee, put your trust
in that Spirit which leadeth to do good—yea, to do justly,
to walk humbly, to judge righteously; and this is my Spirit.”
Doctrine and Covenants 11: 12

“Verily, verily I say unto you, I will impart unto you of my
Spirit, which shall enlighten your mind, which shall fill
your soul with joy; And then shall ye know, or by this
shall you know, all things whatsoever you desire of me,
which are pertaining unto things of righteousness,
in faith believing in me that you shall receive.”
Doctrine and Covenants 11: 13-14
