Alittlewild, I would love to see some of your work here. Please feel free to post. I am still working on my poetry. I haven't been writing for very long. But what I have written, it means something to me.

Motive to Scene

20 August 2005

Inside out and mountain dew
cruising a wave and thinking of you
A poet - a heart - beating in rhythm to make
Each day - each evening to partake

Oh how a life would be empty
if you were not there to choose
Winners come first
and others do refuse

One day of a time
to have found out in thought
These friendships made
away from conscience fought

So here is to tomorrow
here was to being void of sorrow
For what has came and been
those words of works motive to scene

"The light of the body is the eye: therefore when thine eye is single,
thy whole body also is full of light; but when thine eye is evil, thy
body also is full of darkness. Take heed therefore that the light
which is in thee be not darkness. If thy whole body therefore be
full of light, having no part dark, the whole shall be full of light,
as when the bright shining of a candle doth give thee light."
Luke 11: 34-36 KJV

Just a thought about love...

My Love for you…

I saw that look in your eyes…..
Searching, wanting, sending shivers and sighs…
Like the soft flower petals, my love for you unfolds…
Like a fire, raging through my soul…

I feel that magic in your touch…
Trembling, seeking…never can get enough….
Like infinity, my love for you has no barriers, my love for you has no boundaries…
Like a river, rushing endless to the sea…

Enjoy the weekend!

It could have been beatiful, We could have something noone could take away We could have had something noone else would be able to touch it was you whom I gave my heart, it was you I intrusted with my soul so blind is love, so easily you would betray me as you've done Now my heart broke and my soul crused, I lay awake as hour 88 ticks away on the clock, In my times of need you were never there, never had I let you fall never had I let you hurt so 5 years I tried, just for you to walk away so easy, Now I ask my self how?, how could someone take something such as love something so blind with so much trust placed, how you abuse love as you did so coldly, time and time again and time again i was hurt for loveing you, my feeling never changed, yet you still turn your back on me, now i think back realizeing how beatiful this could have been, what we may of had, how would one be so willing to toss it away so, why were you never there for me, why did you brake this heart that still beats in my chest, why did you take this soul of mine so for granted, my life I gave and dedicated to you, only giveing you the best of me, why did you miss guide me so, my love was real, the pain was even realer, but your eyes must of been blind not to see what was awaiting you that has no price, that could have been so beatiful, couldve been so special, hour 89 is comein around, lonelyness well set in, longing for the touch I once felt, the love we'd shared in out most intimint times, all my pain don't keep me from missing the great things about you, pain makes me realize what really was, now I know my life will go on without you.. my heart and soul was once yours now never again, never again will I be hurt by you, never again will I feel alone in my times of need, never will your cold words pirce my heart, your lies will never fall upon my chest so heavy as to crush the very breth from me, I thought you loved me, I thought our worlds were one, now what was once beatiful is now a blood coverd, scard heart laying in a corner, a soul that nolonger has its glow, leaveing a human that has gone numb. cause you gave others your love while my heart was bound to yours, cause you let others guide you to a world without me, but only the replacement of... now you've gone the pain you caused remains, 5 yrs of efforts lost, in just moments of another decisions............. I haven't writen poems in years I hope you enjoy an insite on a pain of a 5 year merrige that was destroyed by one selfishness and thoughtlessness, my wife, I met her when I was 17, we got merried at 18 she cheated on me 2 time with someone who said they were my bestfriend i knew this for 4 yrs at the time my parents had kicked me out of there home for sneakin her in cause she was liveing with and ex fiance who would abuse her and neg her for sex tell she gave in, so I took her in and told him he ever hurt her again me and him would have problems, she lied alot about cheating, she lied alot about just dumb things, but always said she would stop, now at 22 almost 23 she had cheated again, I stayed with her after she finally told me about it, tryin to make it work, but she ran back to the guy she just cheated on me with, now I am in arizona me and her moved out here she said to get away from it all but didn't tell me the truth tell after we were here for about 2 mnths, now here I am I know noone out here and she has gone. I am actualy dealin with it quite well reliezein life is easier without all the worry, all the lieing, all the secretes, and all the decitulness she would bring into my life.. I just an't used to bein alone, the nights are long, sleep is sort to none.. but things are gettin better... thanks for reading, let me know what you think, be honest, you won't hurt my feeling just help me improve..

Thinking about all the conversations we have,
And each conversation brings me laughter,
I cannot wait until I can see your face,
Maybe you are the one my heart is after,
I have known you for several years,
And started talking to you from a friend,
If it wasn't for him we wouldn't talk at all,
That is something I could never comprehend,
I dream about the time when we first meet,
And everything goes perfectly right,
Because you call me later on,
And ask me to be your girl that night,
I am left speechless on the other end of the phone,
I can't find the words that I want to say,
Finally a "Yes" escapes my lips,
This has turned out to be a perfect day.

Hungry for Success

14 August 2000

Hungry for success
and open toward rest
Why does it have to be
that this can’t happen to me

Not being easy to take away the person
when that is the heart of the lesson
A German and a Fin
out for the Grand Prix to win

England’s McLaren
against Italy’s Ferrari
Mika Hakkinen from Finland
and David Coulthard of Scotland
verses German Michael Schumacher
and Brazilian Rubens Barrichello

First to victory one must Finnish
and so it was in Hungary
Hakkinen to the Championship lead
and Schumacher surpassed by another breed

In the Hungarian round of the 2000 Formula One World Championship, a win by McLaren driver Mika Hakkinen took him to the top of the table, as far as the championship points were concerned. Yet this was soon surpassed in following events. The 2000 season ended with previous two times world champion and Ferrari driver, Michael Schumacher with the overall victory for the Drivers Championship and Ferrari taking the Manufactures prize for the first time in around twenty years. With Michael Schumacher achieving a fourth world title in 2001, again with Ferrari taking out both the Manufactures and Drivers Championships.

found this one a ways down in Holly's thread, hehe, couldn't find it here, I don't think I posted it here, but it belongs here as well, lol

She Is Sweet

She is sweet like a box of candy,
All the guys swoop in around her,
They find her so fascinating,
They just want to hear her purrrr,
She likes to play with tons of things,
From balls with bells inside,
To wadded up paper balls,
She bats them around then give chase,
With out bumping into any walls,
When she is done playing,
She curls up and sleeps on the couch,
But be ware for she will scratch you,
And you will holler YEEEOUCH!!!!

With or Without You

02 August 2002

To begin this anthem today
but find it was yesterday by the end
As time held the outcome from
one day to the next to send

Like an endeavor
without a U
Because in some
countries this was true

An adage of English discarded in
the United States of America first
Where the language of love
was far than being diverse

Either Italian or French
with a hint of Latin too
Only the labor comes
with or without the U

"Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day
is the sabbath of thy God: . . . For in six days the LORD made heaven
and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day:
wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it."
Exodus 20: 9-11 KJV

Thx again poet for bringin my thread back to page one where it belongs, I guess one of these days I need to sit outside and just meditate for a while and bring back my sense of writing.

Table of Flowers

Sitting upon a piece of oak,
Sits a bunch of flowers,
In a vase made of gold,
Grown from the spring showers,
They smell so sweet,
Like candy pieces,
The scent fills the room,
And movement decreases,
Everyone just stops to stare,
At this table of flowers,
Knowing that they were once,
Growing from the spring showers.

No Time to Waste

26 September 1999

Is it time needed
to write this prose
Or more so the spirit
as when the Saviour rose

For He has risen
and that be true
Yet one has to be
critical of poems I do

Not composing them
is a sin
Just the time included
could be spread thin

As one would read
a book
Or cast judgement
upon those they down look

Is it a crime to share
a talent given by
a heavenly hand
while others watch time fly

Who thou persecutith me
doeth so unto their own
thus I say
please let us not moan

For God so gave his Son
and he had just the one
Now that is the true lie
and I know exactly why

Judgement is for the weak
so act more like God’s sheep
to know my Redeemer lives
and thus sow what they reap

Feed the lambs, feed the sheep
proclaim the gospel to all
As for my poems they are yours
be it we’re all sinners, short and tall

The 308 cubic inch was one of the most popular of the V8 engine options available on many Holdens. This engine design has perhaps won more motor races than any other, especially in Australia. With the change to Group A regulations in 1985 the engine capacity of 5044 cm³ was later reduced to 4987 cm³ because under the rules, cars over 5 litres were given a higher weight penalty, than those under 5000 cm³. Therefore the engine’s stroke was reduced after the crankshaft was re-machined, but the power output was not effected.

The spirit comes from within - never fear it will be there - when you need it
I wrote nothing in January 2005
however the first two poems I composed in February 2005 got high praise

3856
Here and Now

03 February 2005

Having a choice to look at the photograph
without reference void of those words below
Where life was for some a beginning
with opportunity to send a cheery hello

Where age captures an audience
as if time had stood still
Then given a way - the option could be
wayward in relation to the will

Her smile so sweet
his opinion one willing to express
Or was it simply an attraction to
shoes and a woman in a red dress

Composed here and now
line upon line - one by one
For a mother of this world
precious towards her golden son

"I know that thou canst do every thing, and
that no thought can be withholden from thee"
Job 42: 2 KJV

Determining Another Step

04 February 2005

If fate has a way of happening
then I am known to walk many miles in a day
Like it was only yesterday I covered a distance
on account - step by step into another path

Even if at times my door
is left without a knock
The desire remains of
a hope captured in heart

Tomorrow - oh tomorrow
lost away from yesterdays dreams
Yet fresh from dew covered
pastures at dawn

Such a mixture of attitude
listening to an intermit pull
Determined to take another step
in enhancing a happening of God’s will

"And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain."
Matt. 5: 41 KJV

"BOAST not thyself of to morrow;
for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth."
Proverbs. 27: 1 KJV

"Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away."
James 4: 14 KJV

Friendship to Smile

25 August 2005

She said 'go away'
but I'm still here
Of a thought upon kindness
to delegate in heart to cheer

Ode to that of truth
an element of trust to understand
This reality from
the 'you-ess' of Ah
to a new zee land

Happiness in friendship to smile
where forgiveness was not at play
Just being a mutual feeling
to be unified in a favour born of day

To night of other world
hours separated as much in space
Nevertheless if she was a supercar
I'd be there with her - all ready to race

In the USA there was NASCAR [National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing] - in Australia, V8 Supercars , when there was consideration to that of a premium motorsport category. For some the pinnacle may be Formula One—while others look to Europe and DTM or Touring Cars. Or in the case of New Zealand a classification of New Zealand V8 touring cars. (a similarity in relation to the Australian V8 Supercar and NASCAR in one respect in the type and manufacture of engines used).

However in relation to the New Zealand and Australia ranks of V8 racing—the concept may have been of a two make formula made up of a field exclusive to the Ford Falcon and Holden Commodore cars. [Holden being an Australian arm under the umbrella of General Motors, USA] With a similar outer aerodynamic package fitted to each car and engine capacity. The New Zealand variant were powered with engines producing around half of that in horsepower [kilowatt] output to their Australian cousins in relation to the sport. While the 600 horsepower V8 Supercars run engines with fuel injection and NASCAR was powered by carburettor aspirated V8 engines.

This is just something I needed to get off my chest, this is why it's in song form. I don't quite know what anyone thinks of this, but I was just venting.

Baby look at what you've done to me,
You've scarred my heart for ever more,
Just open your pretty eyes and see,
Or you will end up on the floor,
With every word that you say,
You tear me apart,
I want you to go away,
So I can have a fresh start,
Leave me now don't turn back,
I don't want to see your face again.

Go away, go far far away,
You're not welcome here,
Go away, go far far away,
You're not welcome here.

Baby you hurt me for the last time,
All I do is just cry due to the pain,
You took every last nickel and dime,
And flushed our love down the drain,
I can't believe you did this to me,
You took my heart and ripped it in two,
But now I can finally get to be free,
Since I am no longer tied down to you,
Leave me now and don't turn back,
I don't want to see your face again.

Go away, go far far away,
You're not welcome here,
Go away, go far far away,
You're not welcome here.

UNIQUE VALUE

YOUR LIFE HAS AN IMMENSE AND UNIQUE VALUE. AND YOU CAN CHOOSE TO MAKE THAT VALUE EVEN GREATER. YOUR LIFE IS OVERFLOWING WITH POSSIBILITIES. AND YOU CAN CHOOSE TO EXPAND THOSE POSSIBILITIES EVEN MORE. YOUR LIFE IN FILLED WITH UNIQUE OPPORTUNATIES THAT HAVE NEVER EXISTED BEFORE. AND YOU CAN CHOOSE TO TRANSFORM THEM INTO GRAND ACHIEVEMENTS THAT SET THE STAGE FOR EVEN GREATER OPPORTUNITIES. THERE IS MUCH YOU HAVE TO WORK WITH. AND THERE IS NO LIMIT TO WHAT YOU CAN DO. FOR YOU ARE ALIVE, ABLE TO THINK, TO DREAM, TO PLAN, TO ACT, TO LEARN AND ADAPT, TO CREATE AND GROW. AND DEEP WITHIN IT ALL IS A PURPOSE, A MEANING, A PASSION TAHT YOU ARE DRIVING TO EXPRESS AND FULFILL. STAY CONNECTED TO THAT PASSION, KEEP LISTENING TO THAT PURPOSE, FOR THERE IS SO MUCH THAT YOUR LIFE HAS TO OFFER AND FULFILL. YOU ARE FILLED WITH UNIQUE VALUE, AND THE MORE FULLY YOU LIVE IT, THE GREATER IT GROWS. BY RALPH MARSTON.

Untitled

He is trying to understand,
Why does she not tell him?
He wishes to know, does she love him?

To take her hand, to understand, to know,
Doe she love him as he loves her?
What will it take for her to tell him?

The moon tonight shines bright upon them,
The night sky shows the stars, its inhabitants,
The night is fading and time is fading,
He needs to know. . .

His love for her, it knows no bounds,
To depths of the Earth he will go for this answer,
He would give up his place in Heaven for her,
She is his rose, she is the light on the darkside of him,
Her kiss is blooms his heart, she is the one.

The two meet under the moonlight,
They embrace warmly, both hearts meet,
Each heart can hear the other,
Their lips meet, the light that hits them,
They glow passionately,
All there is, is passion, love and pain that is to come.

Their eyes meet again, she can see the sparkle in his eyes as she looks at him,
Their lips meet again, where upon the wind gently blows upon them,
Their passionate embrace would make the Earth's foundation shake.

He gets on his knee, the one who loves this woman dearly,
Gently, he places her hand in his,
Before her he bows his head,
He must know.

His heart trembles, but he knows, he must know,
Gently and slowly, he lifts his head,
Her eyes water, she knows what he seeks to know,
He utters the question she hoped to not hear,
Is her love for him is as true as his love is for her?

There is silence, only the nightly wind you can hear,
She bows her head gently,
As she bows her head, her eyes close in unison,
For what is a moment, it is a lifetime for the man,
Slowly from her eyes, a tear slowly descends from her soft cheek,
And than another, and another,
Her heart beats fast, she must tell him, he must know.

Finally, she speaks softly and gently,
But the words he longed to know,
Are words no man wishes to hear,
To many who is deeply in love,
They are a death sentence for the heart,
For her love is not true as his love is for her,
Her love, her heart, it belongs to another,
His eyes slowly close, he bows his head as if defeated,
He is filled with sadness and sorrow,
Slowly and gently his maiden withdraws her hands,
And slowly the man who loves this woman,
. . . His heart has begun to die. . .

Moonlight of Serenity

23 August 2005

A dark star
on a bright knight
This symbol of challenge
so it was the duel would begin

Horses at fifty paces
stallion ready to trot
Stave poised and pointed
sharpness to the death

For a fair maiden was
thy prize to capture in heart
To dance an evening away
under the moonlight of serenity

Love in the lust of words
cattle fielded within confined space
Time the victor - catering
through chariot of steel

"IN the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God,
and the Word was God. (John 1: 1 KJV) Thou hast also given
me . . . thy salvation: and thy right hand hath holden me up,
and thy gentleness hath made me great. (Psalms 18: 35 KJV)
But the mountain shall be thine; . . . though they have iron
chariots, and though they be strong. (Joshua 17: 18 KJV) . . .
and what is stronger than a lion?. . ." (Judges 14: 18 KJV)"
