Loves Resistance
The music no longer plays My lover no longer stays With no love in his heart We are worlds apart Last in thought and deed He will never fulfill this need To fall into his arms is where I want to be To mend this broken heart naturally I've lost all faith in a natural healing Heart exposed and so revealing Damp cold cruel unwanted longing The nothingness of not belonging No harmony shall play us together No music will play our song forever A sad guitar laments softly in the distance I am frozen here forever in loves resistance

| Poetry Collection Posted: 8/26/2005 2:21:59 AM | Beyond the Rainbow...
Fulfillment at its best, A crimson kismet in the west. Bewildered quickening, Beyond the blue thickening.
Somewhere over the rainbow, An awesome watery glow. Emerging from the sky, Glamorous to the naked eye.
My destiny lies here, The colors crystal clear. Reflections of passion, Scenery of the utmost fashion.
In search for a pot of gold, A fairy-tale to be unfold. An inherent truth, In search of the fountain of youth.

| Poetry Collection Posted: 8/26/2005 5:23:06 AM | 3980 Engaging Thought 12 May 2005
If rumour was at foot - then the kiwifruit had a golden centre cast Because of this the truth was inbreed to happiness
To sound like there was a real “engagement” but not one at all A true touch of classic poetic to natural course
The cars all lined in ribbon with roses white to bouquet Her flowing dress his dark suit and tie
Wonders of blue waters and unity from ‘en to zed’ in light of this ‘you ess of ah’ only it was God whom would say
For what started with a single seed, nurtured with passion and knowledge. The result was a totally new fruit of golden pleasure. In the best New Zealand horticultural traditions, the smooth bronze skin, of the ZESPRI™ GOLD Kiwifruit were created nature’s way.
The story began in the late 1970s. Tiny Actinidia chinensis kiwifruit seeds were collected from Beijing Botanical Gardens, the Guangxi Institute of Botany in Guilin and from wild plants in South and Central China. They were planted in the rich volcanic soils and warm sun of the Bay of Plenty region of Te Puke in New Zealand (NZ).
ZESPRI™ GOLD Kiwifruit was the child of a mother plant from Beijing, China with yellow flesh and a male plant from the Guilin family, chosen because its sisters all produced large succulent fruit. In 1992, a single vine from this partnership was planted and for the next five years, nurtured in kind. In 1998, 4000 trays of this golden kiwifruit was exported for the first time. Around the world, people had their first chance to savour a new, totally natural NZ kiwifruit variety harvested as ZESPRI™ GOLD.
The purpose of this footnote is to act as an explanatory note in relation to the above works and is not intended as an open endorsement of the product represent by it true and legal name

| Poetry Collection Posted: 8/26/2005 9:17:44 PM | Tropical Rainstorms
In the rainforest, Scents fill the air, Sights are all new to you, Leaving you unaware.
You hear the rains, Falling in a down pour, This is something, You haven't seen before.
You get drenched, But you really don't care, These tropical rainstorms, Will always be there.
For it wouldn't be a rainforest, Without the tropical storms.

Once the day is passed forward there is less a reason to be bored That is the way it goes although only inward this shows
The outer skin hiding it all all the more being tall For behind the human mask is the most incredible task
When the motivation arises producing pleasing surprises Since faith is not truly seen nor the bastion of the keen
Having given up on safe surroundings to follow less heavenly groundings The spirit of which comes along because together with body it does belong
"For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." Hebrews 4: 12 KJV

She was so cute the way she does smile All her inner beauty there in style
This cat of caption to allurement thought Inside a heart - game set and match - caught
Her happiness so appealing her kind so strikingly nice Just like that in a happy face upon a cheesecake ready to slice
Each bite mouth watering to kiss With a roar of a Lion and a feline hiss
"Cats are intended to teach us that not everything in nature has a function." Unknown Quotation by unknown author

| Poetry Collection Posted: 8/28/2005 1:27:48 PM | Dad and Daughter Time
Today I got the chance, To have some fun with my dad, We went to play some pool, I was really glad, It has been a while, Since we had dad and daughter time, But we had a total blast, And it was all sublime, We played a total of five games, And I won the first, He won all the others, Like his games were rehearsed, But all in all, The time we shared, Will be treasured forever.

| Poetry Collection Posted: 8/28/2005 6:00:11 PM | I'm pushing ahead Trying to keep faith in the words you said There is no turning back I must search until I find what I've lacked no use for a bed no longer need to be fed no use for the forgotten life I've led seeking a place where the day no longer turns black a place to rest without looking back a place to lose myself without wanting someone to send help a place where no pain exist only the pure bliss that is unquestionably his I'll find my way one of these days no matter what price I have to pay If you dont understand just take my hand and we'll search togather for our part of the plan. | |

| Poetry Collection Posted: 8/29/2005 10:17:51 AM | Untitled
Two friends, they fight for their country, A nobleman, famouse for his bravery, He inspires the poor, the sick and disheartened, He cries aloud, freedom! The nobleman, famous for his lack of will to fight, He longs and wishes to be as strong as his friend, the commoner.
The commoner fights many battles, He fights for the right to be free, He fights for his beloved, She was taken from him by tragedy, Upon his arm, he carries her embroidery, To keep her close, to remember her always.
The nobleman wishes he can fight, But he lacks courage, He envies his friend, the commoner, The nobleman's father knows this, He tells his son, the nobleman, he is weak, He will always lack the will to fight, Even to save his own land and freedom, He is a coward.
In an act of cowardice, The noble's and the nobleman's father betrays his son, He surrenders his friend to the enemy, The enemy of which wants their land, To take away their freedom, Certain death awaits the commoner. The nobleman, all he can do is beat his chest, And exclaim aloud:
"Oh Lord of Heaven, What have they done? What have they done?"
The nobleman receives word, His friend, the commoner, has died for his false crimes, He died because he wishes for freedom, The nobleman is now king, He is without honor, and most importantly courage, For he has betrayed his only friend.
Now the king must pay homage to a foriegn ruler, It is the same ruler who wishes to take his freedom, It is the same ruler that took the life of his beloved friend, It is fitting, he must do this, for he lacks the courage of his friend.
Both armies meet, the foreign army he to pay homage to, And the king's army as they await their orders, The king is upon his horse, From his armor, a piece of his friends's embroidery can be seen, He takes it out the embroidery from his arm, He remembers his fallen friend, He remember his courage, his bravery and his fight for freedom!
He turns to his comrades and pleads with them, "You have bled blood with my, our friend, His bravery I do not have, But today, I ask of you all, now bleed with me!"
In unison, the kings army releases their war cry, His aide smiles in agreement, The king raises his sword, He looks at the embroidery once more, The sword of his fallen comrade, Today, the king has found his courage, Today their land, their people shall be free
In homeage to his friend, The king raises the sword of his fallen comrade, . . .His death was not in vain. . .

| Poetry Collection Posted: 8/30/2005 11:53:08 AM | 2239 An Indwelling Sorrow 10 October 2002
When you love somebody but can only admire them from afar Life becomes like playing the “blues” on guitar
Fortune to a love not matched up in faith A pain woeful not confined to the human race
The desire more in distance of respect To have loved yet lost of a feeling unable to regret
Such a sadness kept private by action promptly withheld Two people never to know how together this love is indwelling
“Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.” Proverbs 31: 31 KJV

| Poetry Collection Posted: 8/30/2005 4:29:23 PM | It isn't the thing you do, dear, It's the thing you leave undone That gives you a bit of a heartache At setting of the sun. The tender word forgotten, The letter you did not write, The flowers you did not send, dear, Are your haunting ghosts at night,
The stone you might have lifted Out of a brother's way; The bit of heartsome counsel You were hurried too much to say; The loving touch of the hand, dear, The gentle, winning tone Which you had no time nor thought for With troubles enough of your own
Those little acts of kindness So easily out of mind, Those chances to be angels Which we poor mortals find-- They come in night and silence, Each sad, reproachful wraith, When hope is faint and flagging, And a chill has fallen on faith.
For life is all too short, dear, And sorrow is all too great, To suffer our slow compassion That tarries until too late; And it isn't the thing you do, dear, It's the thing you leave undone Which gives you a bit of a heartache At the setting of the sun.

| Poetry Collection(babysitting cats thread :) Posted: 8/31/2005 12:00:40 PM | Butterfly
So colorfull amongst the sky, Flying so completely free, Landing upon that daisy bloom, Just for me to see, I picture myself with wings, So I can soar into the sky, To leave this world and all it's pain, And be with the Lord on High, But these wings I do not have, So I ask myself why, Why can I not join you, You beautiful butterfly, You fly so freely without a sense of fear, And I cannot help but stare, Because you are so beautiful, Nothing else could ever compare.
