Pounding and chasing this heart of mine
Breathless and stirring, captivating my mind.
My spirit and soul, enchanted and charmed
the excitement and awe, mysterious in kind.

The sight and allurement of the rippling waves
the rocks and the cliffs and the glistening sands.
The sounds of the rush, the breaking of waves
the gush and explosion against sculpted lands.
The scents of the sea, the salt in the breeze
The glow of the waters the passion it demands.

The swell in the distance drawing forth to land
building its power and speed of envious seduction.
Sinking and clinging to the sands below
the waters touching and caressing with potent desire.
The whites of the surf, breaking and exhilarating
releasing its passion, as though exploding with intensity
Breaking and moving, eroding the ground
coveting my body my spirit my soul.
Seduced by the passion, the excitement and power
The body now gasps a breath of candour.
Watching and feeling as it gently withdraws
The spirit still dancing its ecstasy for sure.
Watching and waiting as the strength again grows
Knowing, anticipating, its vigour I implore
The body devolves , the desires surpass
Again I succumb to this wondrous shore

Untitled

If I show you who I always wanted to give my heart to,
Will you promise me the sun will always shine on the morrow?
Will you stay with me throughout the nights twilight?
Will you help count the shooting stars and make a wish?

My life has been like a epic story,
I have lived many scores and can tell a tale or two,
Like a baby in its mothers womb, wisdom has grown within me,
Rejection has always been my friend but I always felt love.

When the sun rises, you know your day has begun,
This is true with love I have seen and felt,
When the sun sets, you know your day has ended,
This is true with the love I have lost; rejection.

I weep for those whose sun has set,
For I am their companion now, we are brothers in arms,
Like a mother holding her child to her bosom,
What we seek, we once held dear to our hearts.

I have found thee, and with that I see the sun shine once more,
Yet in my struggles, in all this confusion called life,
I have forgotten the song love sings,
And with that like my heart has begun to sleep.

I must know what this struggle in my heart has been for,
So before I sleep, I beckon thee,
Sing me your song once more. . .

Hey Girlfriend.I hope all is spiffy with you.I love your thread chica:) Kat

A veil of nightfall enshrouds like a gown
Alive in the stillness,I let my hair down
Bathing in solitude no voice can be heard
My thoughts flow in indigo ink spoken words
An ocean of thoughts crash in waves on the page
Like my life drawn in letters
On a worn paper stage
The actors are memories
Ive again given life
With each pen stroke on stationary
sometimes in soft spoken voice
Each word paints stilll frame
of the life that Ive lived
As the ink flows in rivers
Its not one to forgive
Sometimes my own words
Hunt me down in a chase
The things Ive long hidden
Now given a face
Sometimes there is solace
And sweet beauty too
When pen meets the paper
In the way poets do

In winding streams through grassy fields
Nature weaves a beautiful sight
Wind blows down the valleys green
While cloudless skies watch on

Down leafy lanes in tree lined alleys
Bird’s chorus fills the air
Waiting for the day to come
When the Earth comes to life

Oceans rush to shore on tides
Neptune rides upon the waves
The tireless sands watch on in silence
While time stands still in awe

Red skies on the hilltops at dawn
Fade away in the mists of the day
The ages old mountains watching time
When gentle breezes blow

Pain
by Bobby7

I really don’t think that my heart will recover from this pain
In the past, I have been hurt before. Now, here it comes again
I don’t think that I can make it through; How much more I can take.
Before the pain I’m feeling now will make my poor heart break.

The day you walked out of my life is when this hurt began
And though I try to cleanse my heart, I’m not sure if I can.
Every day that I awake and know you’re really gone
Is like eternity to me. How long does this go on?

Knowing that you once were mine, and that you no longer care
Has but a burden on my soul that I simply cannot bear
If you’d agree to talk to me, and tell me what to do
Then, it would ease my mind somewhat, to hear these words from you.

Each lonely hour of every day that you’re no here with me
Just chips away the very base of any future I might see
Pleas, just help me find a way, show how me how I can atone
Because, my love, my only love..I can’t go on alone

And so, I’m seeking any means to try to make you see..
Life alone is much too sad..And, without You..
There’s no Me

Ships in the Night

Love is always afloat on the waves
Even when they tend to be rough
Like ships floating in the night
With hulls that are tough
Never to fail or fall apart
Even at hurricane force
Being led during the toughest storm
By an offshore light source
Never changing direction
Constantly going straight
Like ships in the night
To let their future await

Hello Angel! How are you doing today? I haven't been around lately and missed your desire for beauteous life! Your thread is doing well! Hope you stop by sometime!

---Robert

Ps. I hope you like this spur of the moment write I made at the library today!

Looking for You Too!

Seeking eternal bliss with woman of loveable quality.
Desire of perfection in many colors other than white.
I want to spend the rest of my life smiling on holiday.
I love to work at anything that will bring about light.

A clearer understanding of what makes all things right.
I don't seek riches unless riches are obtained in truth.
I don't seek b tches because life is more than a fight.
It's a quest to live in an eternal beauty that soothes.

Whats good for me might not be your thing on this day.
Maybe sometime life will direct us to a point of union.
That day will come when what really matters is conveyed.
A day of that leaves us drawn to the same conclusion.

Our values will evolve to a serenity that belongs to all.
Not your typical name-brand item found at the mall.
It will take on an everlasting harmony most seek to gain.
Leaving behind those that are foolish and inflicting pain.

Somewhere in this world there is a match where this is true.
This one should take the chance and seek me out too.
Whatever is holding you back...you must ignore the norm.
For a normal life is not what is found after such a storm.

The bliss we seek to sustain will only be gained by like kind.
No one will lead you to a point they have not been able to find.
It is these finer points in life that must be found using your heart.
No material belongings can aid you as you can't find it on a chart.

The location of this momentus achievement is found only in pairs.
It is something that brings a smile, much like a twinkling of an eye.
Look about at the knowing eyes of those that show an inner calm.
They will be the most likely to be on a path of that is of this song.

Seeking one that knows there is more to this than meets the eyes.
Someone that will reveal their inner self without so much disguise.
Be not afraid to present yourself or to show your knowledge of life.
Only then will you begin this adventure to take you away from strife.

Robert..i love your poetry....just to tell you once again...:)

A young lads dream
To sail the seven seas
Two thousand miles
Of gentle breeze

A gallant Captain
And brave first mate
Little did they know
Was sealed their fate

A sailor's worst fear
Raging winds - a hurricane gale
Drop the anchors
Lower the sail !!

A valient lady
who fought as hard as she could
But the waves were too much
For this ship made of wood

Nineteen good men
Were lost at sea
But their spirits now sail
The waves of eternity.

Girl from 'Bee Cee'

30 July 2006

So I fell in love
in love with a girl from 'Bee Cee'
As if that was always meant to happen
and for now that love in words does stay

While in matters of birth
British Columbia was there first
For she was not of such a land
neither a Canadian gene in her blood

This maiden of beauty
and South African born
God created her
He created the Gazelle
the child and her fawn

So I feel in love
and know she likes me back
This girl from 'Bee Cee'
all pure and savoury
as to a vegetarian snack

The Springbok (Afrikaans: spring = jump; bok = antelope, deer, or goat) (Antidorcas
marsupialis) is a small brown and white gazelle that stands about 75 centimetres high.
The males can weigh up to 50 kilograms and the females up to 37 kilograms. The Latin name
marsupialis derives from a pocket-like skin flap which extends along the middle of the
back on to the tail. The springbok can lift this flap, which makes the white hairs underneath
stand up in a conspicuous 'fan'.

Springboks inhabit the dry inland areas of south and southwestern Africa. Springbok range
includes south and southwestern Africa, mainly in the countries of Namibia, Botswana, Angola
and the Republic of South Africa.

The Springboks, is the nickname of the South African national rugby union team.
The Springboks, as they are commonly referred to, compete in the Tri Nations Series
alongside the New Zealand (All Blacks) and Australia (Wallabies), as well as competitions
such as the Rugby World Cup.

Looking at the man she once loved
Trying to figure out what went wrong
That special place in her heart
Now seems like he doesn't belong
A hole now remains in her heart
Where his love once resided
But one day it will heal
When the pain has subsided
She kisses him one last time
To see if that spark remains
But it vanished and she walks away
As her heart tears from all the strains
She can't stop the tears that flow
And she can't bare to turn back

Thank you, Carina!

Drowning in the Sea of Love.

I could fall for a woman that loves my poetry.
Anyone that takes the time to read what I write.
It warms my heart to know this; I feel much delight.
To think that another has read words I wrote stoically,

This lets me know that there is hope in my quest.
So many desire but never reach out to the rest.
It is rare to find any that will take up their time,
to be kind and make comments to any that they find.

I would like to meet you face to face sometime.
What a chat we could have speaking only in rhyme.
Laughing at the sheer absurdity of our life's irony;
Finding words appreciated by someone so far from me.

The torment of trying to aquire what is just out of reach.
Something that we deal with, not something we teach.
What a class to be taught by teachers under-paid.
A sold out overfilled classroom on how to get laid.

Not given in the recreational style of the players,
It has to be taught with truth and only for stayers.
People that seek to have value and respectful love,
THis is what people like you and me, desire from above.

A lasting relationship with joy to no end.
When does it start...I can't wait to begin.
Alas, it is but a poet's fantasy to write,
no matter what the will on how we can unite.

It is not to be taken outside of the limits,
as the distance is a factor on love's commitments.
I can't swim that far and I'm not a good sailor.
So amongst the nineteen is a lovesick bailer.

Sinking fast in the depths of the waters.
The words won't save me as I feel so much hotter.
The laughter begins as I gulp my last breath,
drowning in the sea of love awaiting my death.

Thanks Robert and Carina, because after reading your correspondence above, I found these words to say

5588
Enlightened Hearts

05 August 2006

When two hearts meet across a universe
when those hearts beat in a rhythm as one
Words only words, those of a poet to seek
those words, whispering of love
this love and the desire to seek

When two hearts climb
that ladder of love
And both meet on the wing
those words of love
both hearts do sing

For could it be love
an effect stolen over time
When clocks bare another name
this was love, or just a word in rhyme

When two hearts, unite to pray
and their words are in unison borne
Would this be true to endure
an enlightenment to understand
of two hearts, across a universe pure

Unwanted and alone
She sits crying in the corner
No one seems to notice
As she thinks about her life
And all the pain she went through
She gets up off the floor
With tears flowing down her face
She grabs a knife from the kitchen counter
And says "ending my life would end the pain"
As she looks at her wrist
Her heart going thump....thump....thump
She takes the blade and cuts her wrist
Feeling the sharp pain that followed
The blood pouring from her wrist
And the darkness closing in
Her breath begins to slow
As she collapses on the floor
Thump....Thump......Thump............Thump
Her heart beats one last time
Her eyes closed in a forever sleep
Never to wake
