It would be great if you could see this paradise
Home would be simple and warm
A journey a year , like the honey make bees swarm
Is a simple solution , so home isnt over-worn
Now we portal through the bees eyes
And anyalyse everthing in yellow form
The brick road is waiting to be walked
So lets fly together , to keep out of the harshest weather
I have my eyes on you as we take turns learning to fly
We are so caught up in each other , we lost the road
From here i can see a secret agent licking a toad
Eyes wide open from the essence of his prey
Will the secret find the light of day
Now that is passed , lets get back on track
Lets fly home darling , lets go back | |

Even when they are out of town,
Never leaving you in your time of doubt,
Don't even thing about shedding a tear,
So you can be happy and shout,
Having no more of that fear,
Instead have fun and be merry,
Playing and dancing around.

And smiles tend to fill my face,
Sending happiness towards you with a glance,
Making your heart sing with grace.
No more reasons to feel blue,
Happiness begins to fill my heart,
Leaving me smiling which is a beginning that's new,
Instead of down where I was at the start.
You would have never known it was in me,
Because of how I was in the past,
I over-turned a new leaf, and I feel so free,
And this new stage will last.
I never feel like I want to cry anymore,
Because of the ones that are around me who care,

The Canadian Poet (which is changing it's name and web address soon) accepts ALL amateur (original) poetry from anyone who wants to submit it! We accept just about all types and all maturity levels (sorry, English only).

Posted: 5/25/2005 9:06:17 PM | I only posted that because someone, um forget their name, Angel? had mentioned it... didn't really want to step on your forum toes :) BTW I've copied over, oh, about well... all of your poems to the new site- I'll send you the address once I finish tweaking a few more things. I was holding off the release date until I had all the poems (I have over 400 to transfer) moved to the new site... but I think it is going to be announced a lot sooner than I expected- the anticipation is growing (by readers) to know where it's at :) (which is really cool!)
