Posted: 5/8/2008 3:17:18 PM | I can live without a man's athletic abilities (I could care less how athletic someone is or how often they go to the gym). I can live without him being able to dance (I could care less). I could live without the exes and the kids.
I can live with a little sloppiness (I don't mind picking up after others)
I can live him being there for me when I need him
I can live with him traveling with work from time to time as I would enjoy quiet time alone occasionally | |

I could not live with dishonesty, ambiguity, and infidelity.
I can live without compatibility in many areas (independence and individuality is a wonderful thing). I can live without having someone being perfect. Extras, I know, but there are so many to choose from. | |

I can live without someone who expects more then they can or do give.
I can live without being talked to like I'm stupid, weak, and worthless.
I can live with a man that notices other women.
I can live with someone who is as sociable as I am.
I can live with a man who won't make a big decision without my involvement. | |

Posted: 6/2/2008 10:41:32 PM | In relationships ,the main ingredients for success are honesty ,consistency , and humor. The older you get the more you realize that love is never enough , nor was it ever .
Why is it we spend so much time looking for the " so called right person",or realize thatlove is not supposed to hurt. It does not come with an instruction booklet entitled how to change the one you thought you loved,so you can love them.Why do so many people try to do just that? Why are you together in the first place.
Let's be real. If there are red flags pay attention.
If you are with someone that is violent,disrespectful, or racist, run. In my opinion it doesn't get any worse than that. | |

There are no perfect matches, maybe perfectly imperfect. And love definitely isn't enough. There has to be respect, commitment, patience, acceptance, humor, compassion, ability to agree to disagree, freedom to be individual while still in the relationship. | |

1. respect
2. kindness
3. sense of adventure
Can do without in a relationship:
1. impatience
2. a "know-it-all-attitude" -- I like men who are confident, but they also have to be able to admit when they are wrong...
3 an "infideltity" gene -- I can forgive many things, but not cheating. If you want to be with me, then treat me like it. If not, then tell me beforehand, and leave.
