| Funny, but real names... Posted: 3/27/2008 7:41:32 PM | okay I gotta share
worked with a guy name J. B. ******. He enlisted in the army and the clerk said he had to have full names. He said that's what his mother named him, it was on his birth certificate. So the clerk completed the forms and told him to go home and wait for his induction papers. Several weeks later he got his letter, addressed to Jonly Bonly (J only B only), a true story.
okay, one more...
I am of mexican descent and married a caucasian girl years ago. She introduced me to her dad... "Dad this is Ricky, Ricky this is my dad "Whitey". Uh, ok, so what's his real name? And he says, it's ok, you can call me Whitey. I said, not on your life, can you see me trying to get your attention in a crowded place... a brown skin calling out "Hey! Whitey!"... so I called him dad, which caused just as much confusion...

| Funny, but real names... Posted: 4/8/2008 11:16:06 PM | Harry Plummer Yes, his real name was Harry (it was not short for Harold, and he was actually hairy)
another dude: Jack Aycock He was a cool dude, but how could you not be cool with a name like jack-a-cock. (Oh, and his real name was Jack, it was not a nickname for John.)
I met a girl once who was named Amanda Cook Ok, might not seem that funny, so her parents might not have done it on purpose, but I use to say to her "Where's Amanda Cook and Clean" or "I need Amanda Cook and Clean"... sound it out... "A Man to Cook and Clean". I ran into her one day and she was engaged. Her last name was going to change from Cook to Kitchen. Hahahahaha.

| Funny, but real names... Posted: 4/9/2008 5:50:10 AM | I went to high school with a guy named Tommy Glasscöck.
What made this extra funny was that he was an amateur boxer, and if you know anything about boxing, a weak fighter is known as a glassjaw.
Then there were Poon Nan Tang and Douglas Booty.
And I still snicker at Hall of Fame baseball player Al Kaline.
