Posted: 12/1/2007 1:26:58 PM | | I want to apologise to all the men & women who are truthfull...I am just angered by my most recent experience...I can not tell him so I chose to tell the world...Its him its everyone who ever misled me in any way shape or form..for personal gain...Give people credit we as adults in our thirties have been in the dating scene a long time..I have my share of broken hearts and have prob left some along the way..I have had men that were dating material, and relationship material ,..and some that were good at the time..Be honest about what you want you may be surprised that at the time we may want the same thing as you......:) | |

i am still wondering why people use a computer to find romance, partner, relationship, etc
to me the Net is NOT the real world, we have plenty of people around us in the real world, anyone is able to find someone.
the Net is very good at learning languages, finding something (films, music, etccc) but none but someone who stays at home 24 hours a day, 7 days a week would use a machine to get a partner, etccccccc

Had to be a city dweller'till I retired 8 years ago.
I'm 58/have no stress,boss,schedule.
Spend time in our studio(I don't take my act on the road).
I may on any night-0 dark 100 walk a few blocks and lay down a track of some song.
The only time I have to be great.
The five bouroughs might make an idiot outa me...schemin' hustlin' one step ahead but I forgot:ahead of what?
You might define your comfort zone,care only about yourself.That shows you,and New York Vinnie you rock your world,impress yourself,are your best.A guy seein'that is like yours truly first time I saw Emmy Lou Harris.I proposed,well,something like marriage from the floor.
Shot to hell-oh well.
If you look askance at men,daggers of disapointment in your eyes...sorta like you now,you are lost.But you are the lady your life's been designed to be.
That fails,move to the sagebrush and date rich cowboys.I know several...no stealin'the cab,hell,they open the new pickup door and treat ya like my g.pa did g.ma.

the real world..thats a funny statement..the cyber world is as fake as they come..a lot of false advertisement..to sell a product that doesnt exist..slimy sales men and women who lie to achieve personal gain, a quick fix..and an ego boost..I will not say all..but a majority out there are into the thrill of the chase... Upgrade..that is also a funny word..that is true for so many people looking for the next best thing...That is why so many people who want love, that want that one..and want to share time, a friendship..maybe a life.. get hurt and disapointed by people who never had any intention of wanting more than a one night thing......one night..or a cyber fling..
The last guy I met really made me see how the game is played...and my eyes are wide open finally to things I never saw before in myself..and in others..
Well said.
Men should simply get a RealDoll and women should, well, I dunno, get a cat or something. Leave the whole battle of the sexes thing to history. | |

So, who are you meeting?. You seem to be generalizing but we are all not the same. You are very right, you choose who you allow in your lives, so you need to do some research as to who you are allowing into your life. Only you know the answer.

Hmmmm, convincing?. Sounds like you are looking for players or boys that like to tell ladies what they want to hear. Maybe you should try meeting other types of people that do not fit the player (again, you should know better, I am only guessing from what you write).
What happened to someone just wanting to call just to say hi, or to hear your voice...
I find that women find these guys boring. They want to have a bad boy that makes them feel good. HAving a good guy next to you is seen as "boring" by many women.
Again, I do not know your particular situation, but you seem to be in a circle of the same type of guys. Not all of us are the same, so please do not lump us in the same category just because your choice methods to date men are flawed. | |
