Have you ever thought about God's plan for you...
He is waiting for you, to take your hands off...
So all of your best will shine through!
Wake up each morning and say to yourself...
'Today is a wonderful day!'
Think on the things that are on today's list...
Then give thanks to God for your way!
Look at your problems as challenges...
exciting to solve for the best...
Don't worry or fret with hows and with whys...
you do your part and let God do the rest!
Road blocks will happen and others may cause...
grief while you go on our way...
Keeping good thoughts and a spirit of thanks...
will give you peace for your day!
I'm not suggesting that sadness won't come...
fear and frustration will too...
Faith and believing in God's best for life...
will comfort and then bring you through!
This isn't easy, it's a choice that we make...
to turn things over to God...
Be thankful each day for his guidance and love...
Let him help carry your load!
When your day closes and now you can sleep...
give thanks for everything dear...
Do not forget, to give thanks for the grief...
for it's in our plan just as cheer!
We couldn't ever enjoy, all that is good...
if bad things weren't in the mix...
Overcoming these things, as hard as it seems...
shows our character when it's at its best!
So make it a choice, to have a great life...
and always remember to pray...
Guard what you're thinking, positive please...
Then you'll have your best life today!

It's sad to hear of friend's passing...
Those that aren't in your daily life...
Acquaintances really...
Not friends!
Lives that cross from time to time...
Neighbors, clerks, work or such...
People that you nod your head to...
or smile and wave and say 'hello!'
These are the people...
that we really don't think of...
until they're mentioned...
Yet, you are moved when you hear of their passing!
It's like the constant you take for granted...
Their passing...
is a reminder to us...
that nothing or no one is for ever!
Take a moment...
Think of those around you...
Like the moors that keep us safe...
The unstated bounderies in our life!
The next time you have the pleasure of that nod or smile...
Look them in the eye...
as if to show them with your smile...
That you really see them in your world!
!!!
This poem is to remind myself...
as well as others to take the time to smell the flowers!
The world comes to an end for someone each day...
No one has a promise of tomorrow!

Have you ever wondered...
Why it seems, that some people go through life
hurting others and cheating...
Yet don't seem to pay a price for it?
Payday doesn't always come on Friday night!
Have you ever heard
'What goes around, comes around!'
Then you've heard of Karma!
The Hindus say it's a matter of
'Cause and Effect'
Buddhists seek Nirvana!
Each action receives a reaction!
Christians believe
'As ye sow..Ye shall reap'
All seem to agree that causing harm by accident...
does not cause bad Karma...
Also...
Causing a benefit without intent...
does not bring good Karma!
It would be best said...
that the 'Golden Rule'
seems to be the best measure...
'Do unto others as you would have them do unto you'
Be mindful which words you speak into the universe...
Be careful which deeds you offer also...
You will do well to consider...
What goes around, comes around!

written by a teenager with cancer.
She wants to see how many
people get her poem.

This poem was written by a terminally ill young girl in a
Hospital .

Have you ever
watched kids
On a merry-go-round?
Or listened to
the rain
Slapping on the ground?
Ever followed a
butterfly's erratic flight?
Or gazed at the sun into the fading
night?
You better slow down.
Don't dance so

fly?
When you ask How are you?

leave this world due to cancer.
This young girl has 6 months left
to live, and as her dying wish, she wanted to send a letter telling everyone to
live their life to the fullest, since she never will.
She'll
never make it to prom, graduate from high school, or get married and have a
family of her own.

I would like everyone to please continue to pray for my brother-in-law.My sister called me this morning and said heart doctor needs to shock his heart because it not beating correctly.So they will do this on Monday and doctor has said his heart could just stop beating..

Living on earth is expensive,
but it does include a free trip around the sun every year.
How long a minute is depends on what side of the
bathroom door you're on.
Birthdays are good for you;
the more you have,
the longer you live.
Happiness comes through doors you
didn't even know you left open.
Ever notice that the people who are late are often much jollier
than the people who have to wait for them?
Most of us go to our grave
with our music still inside of us.
If Walmart is lowering prices every day,
how come nothing is free yet?
You may be only one person in the world,
but you may also be the world to one person.
Some mistakes are too much fun
to only make once.
Don't cry because it's over;
smile because it happened.
We could learn a lot from crayons:
some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull,
some have weird names, and all are different colors.....
but they all exist very nicely in the same box.
A truely happy person is one who
can enjoy the scenery on a detour.
Have a awesome morning, evening, or night
and know that someone who thinks you're great
has thought about you today!

"What is Easter?" Some may ask
in this world today
They haven't had the benefit
of parents that do pray
This new generation
brought up just to think
Easter is for colored eggs
and bunnies that are pink
Picnics in the park with friends
watching children play
Parades in every city
floats are on display
Spring break is a focus
many often have
Some will plan vacation
visit mom and dad
All these things within themselves
are fun and bring us pleasure
Just remember Christ's own death
for this is the real treasure
Christ was featured on display
he had his own parade
From bleeding wounds came colors red
that all the soldiers made
He didn't ride on flowered floats
he walked alone instead
carrying his wooden cross
as his body bled
He could hear the ridicule
the screaming out of scorn
They said "yes, here comes the king"
a crown of thorns was worn
They nailed him to that cross that day
on a hill for all to see
They pierced his side and spat on him
took all his dignity
He could have called on angels
to save him from this pain
But instead he suffered
for the world's own gain
Christ did know this day would come
the purpose of his birth
It didn't make the suffering less
but he knew its worth
Christ did die..God's own son
on Golgotha hill
On the third day after that
he arose yet still
His precious blood he shed for us
now cleanses every soul
All our sin is washed away
made clean and pure as gold
He lives! He lives!
As we will one day too
Death of flesh was not his end

Just wanted to let every one know that after April, I plan on leaving POF. I may stay around long enough to have my Backyard get together at my house in May and that will be the end for me on any dating site. I know longer need to be on here. I am the happiest person in the world, very content with my life now, and look foward to my future. My only problem is: I have met some really nice people on here at my get togethers and those people I will miss So much and if there is anyone that would like to stay in touch with me, you can email me and I'll give you my contact information. My daughter April Is My Name and friend Dollhouse549...Sheryl will be doing some get togethers for all of you just like I have been doing. So please everyone come out to these last few get togethers that I will be hosting so I can say my good byes, well not good bye because I don't believe in good byes, but I can give all my friends that I have met and the new ones that I will be meeting a big hug.
