Posted: 4/13/2008 4:40:12 PM | Even from just face pictures you can tell if someone is fat or not. To this day i have never seen someone with a gaunt skinny face and a huge body. I am not saying it is not possible but i have yet to see a fat person with a face that was not also fat.
If it is such a great concern to you then the solution is simple. Ask for a full length shot and even ask them to go on webcam. | |

Lots of big people show their bodies on here!! Has it ever occurred to you that the reason a lot of women don't post body pics is because they don't want to receive emails saying, "you look really hot. wanna meet?"

This is a possible reason, but IMO the majority of people with just face shots are fat. I know many men who have went out with women who only had face pics. 7 or 8 times out of 10, the woman was fat. Also there are some men who prefer larger women. If a larger woman does have a full body shot, then most likely the men who contact her would be the men that like larger women. | |

It's the idea that one SHOULD post a full-body pic otherwise some people automatically think you must be ugly, and it's the assumption of ugliness based on weight or other imperfection that got to me.
I rebel in reverse: guys, you'll either like ME or not, and if our minds don't like each other, I don't really care what our bodies think, so I'm not trying to attract you physically: hence, no interest in posting a full-body pic.

I think one of my pictures is a half-body shot. It doesn't mean that my lower half is hideous, it just means that most people don't bother to take pictures that are full-length, for whatever reason, myself included. So does that mean if someone only has full-length shots, they're deliberately standing farther away from the camera because their face is deformed?
Honestly, if someone wants to meet me, they can see my full length self in person. If they take one look at me and book, they've got some issues. I personally don't have a weight problem, but I think even folks who have a few extra pounds here and there have just as much right to show their most flattering pictures (even if it's just of their faces) as those who don't. I'd much rather talk to someone who's showing pictures of a smiling face than the guys who stand topless in front of a mirror and flex and snap off shot after shot of their scowling, badass mugs and expect me to swoon. | |

Besides there is an unsaid in code what photo is best to use, with that does anyone have any particular favourites like the obscured by shades (illicit encounter), the throwing of hair (good in bed), my friends wedding (marry me) or the boy friend cut out ("I've no baggage honest!") my favourite is actually the smile, it makes even the worst dinosaurs look attractive. | |

Have you thought of asking for a full body pic? It is difficult to take one of yourself. all of my pictures were taken in front of a mirror by me. | |

but i guess ya can't be too picky for the ones who do have up atleast 1 pic up of themselves even if it is justa face pic..
but still i myself would like to see something recent an up to date an a full pic of your face an body..whats so wrong an hard about that..
i'll never 4get 1 of the men i meet off here i wont say no names, but he know he was wrong for that.. who had listed on his profile that he was a few exstra pounds an all his pics where taken with him standing behind something.,i shoulda known.. cause O MY GOD when we meet it was like he has a few exstra pounds from the waist up but the rest of him was like a big ol elephant ass.. O my GOD when he turned around an i was standing behind him i was almost knocked out with his big ol' elephant ass an big old dinosaur legs...this all exsplains why he was always standin behind something in the pics plus to top it off he brought all 3 of his young kids on the date all under the age of 7years old...
i'm a big woman but hey what ya hear an see is what ya get no hidden surprises...
