The Giants are LAST YEAR'S SB champs and that's obvious, but not this year.

You are right Weasel, Yes they are! The Giants are the defending Superbowl Champions. An honor the Pats thought they would have. Unfortunately things did not go as planed for the Patsies. And as to this year. We didn't even start it yet so to say " but not this year" is a little early to say. You have a right to your opinion. As in last year you had the same opinion that the Giants would not win the Superbowl. but they did!

I know its only been one game, but Eli still continues to bring the same numbers to the table....I'm curious how he will perform against the Rams?

Against the Redskins....

Completions 54.3%
TD 0
RTG 61
Int 1

No improvements yet....

You have a fetish with the Giants and Manning. You should seek counseling. With Brady out and no chance to win your division this year, this could be the year you are committed.

Come on, you have 36 posts in this thread. I think you win the most posts by one person in the Eli thread. Good job!

The same fetish you have over Brady and the Patriots. Your face is plastered all over the Patriot threads....

But you have to agree....Eli stats SUCK!!!! I still think he is a Trent Dilfer or a Brad Johnson.

Boxscore junkies don't truly understand any sport. Eli Manning is a top of the line QB, regardless of the geeks who analyze the game by looking at numbers.

The people who matter get it.

I have to agree that the Patriots SUCK!!!! They an undefeated team all season long with the easiest schedule in the NFL could not beat a brother of a great QB. Couldn't beat this Trent Differ or Brad Johnson type of QB as you say. They can't even play fair football. Once a cheater always a cheater. And as to Belichick he is the slimmest Coach in the NFL always hiding news to the media like some one will find out his game plan. Patriots days are over get used to it! The Jets will have a better record than the Pats this year! No doubt about it Weasel!

And they won't make it to the playoffs....And they won't win the division....And so that means the Giants won't repeat this year.

Once a cheater always a cheater.

Let's not go there dumb a$$ because you couldn't even give me an explanation several months back....Remember, you were too tired.

your right let's not go there weasel dumb a$$

Click your heels and say: there's no place like home This way you can wake up from your nightmare.

No Superbowl win and now no Brady and company winning a division. Seems the NEW YORK JETS will beat you this year, who would have thought I know how you just love New York. You even trash the Yankees.

You will not wake up this year from your nightmare. It will be your living hell

No doubt that Eli Manning is playing some serious ball right now, he is looking better then his brother this year, who would have thought that? Hell, who would have thought that the Colts would be playing this bad is the bigger question? Eli is most def coming into his own, but i'd still pick Payton over Eli as my starting QB, even though they both have superbowl wins under their belt.

Just alittle crazy, you crack me up but I have to admit, I agree with you most of the time.

SteelCity, Big brother only gets the nod over his kid brother because he's tremendously accurate and you can't teach that. Eli's comming into his own now so let's see what happens, still more to see.

As far as the Pats, looks like they'll be..................

Eli shows his confidence. He is playing his best football that I have seen so far. Even the Giants defense with out some key players are getting the job done. I am tired of hearing who did they play. If we lost those games then they could all say what they want of the defending champs. But we are doing what we have to do and that is win. We are winning the games we play but the Giants will never get the respect they deserve. We won the Superbowl against the undefeated Pats and this year we where figured as 6th seed. I am excited to see Dallas and Washington again. Yes its early but we are going to the playoffs again

Don't get too excited about Washington and Dallas they're in our division and the season is still very young despite the 4-0 streak. I know the Giants will never get respect but that's just the way it is unfortunatley.

Eli has made his mark and I really like our chances. Just keep reeling off the wins and play 500. later. We'll be there, you can bank on it no matter who plays!

Big brother has competition now

Your kidding me with that statement, Right? .500???

Guess the G-men will just have to wait till the playoffs before people see they are no fluke and are for real. How fast we forget the amazing ending to last year!

Not 500. now, no way.............................. That's near the end of the season. Schedule is tougher.

We are for real but let's not lose sight. Stay focused and keep our heads in the game.
As much as I want to win again it's very hard to repeat, especially in football.

In his last 16 regular season games – a full season - QB Eli Manning is 12-4.
*Manning, of course, is often compared to Peyton, his older brother. After 64 games, Eli has six more victories. Peyton’s current record is 110-59 (.651). Eli’s postseason record is 4-2. Peyton’s is 6-7.

Manning’s 64 consecutive regular season starts give him the third-longest active streak:
Brett Favre 262
Peyton Manning 169
Eli Manning 64
Drew Brees 57

Manning has the second-longest streak of consecutive starts by a Giants quarterback in the Giants Stadium era (since 1976):

1. Kerry Collins 67
2. Eli Manning: 64
3. Phil Simms 50
4. Dave Brown 44

The team record 69 consecutive starts at quarterback is held by Fran Tarkenton (1967-71).

Why are your stats for Kerry Collins different?

Are you trying to show us that Manning has the second worst passer rating on your top ten list and threw for the third most INTs and the third fewest yards in his first 64 games. It's not a very flattering list for Manning.
Where's Kurt Warner?

Those stats I saw in an article. I didn't write it. Kurt wasn't on the list to the writer of the article. Whats different with Collins? You have to remember this is only the first 64 games played for everyone. I think it is flattering when it comes down to WINS.

"""Why are your stats for Kerry Collins different?"""

Collins first 52 games were with the Panthers and the Saints before he got to NY where he played 71 games before moving on to the Raiders.
