cooking in aluminum can't be good for you. better you make tin hats than use it to cook.
I use pots and pans made of stainless steel or glass... and lids for them to hold in moisture. welcome to the modern age.

Where does one find tin foil? I've heard of it but never seen it. Aluminum foil is cheap and plentiful, why do you select tin foil over alu.?

Curious.

at least the foil hats will keep the aliens from reading our thoughts....or so the line goes in the movie Signs.....lmao...

Edit.. a wadded up ball of foil makes an amusing toy for cats....and if they chew at it a bit.. it cleans the tarter off their teeth...lol

My favorite is fish using this method. I put fish fillets, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt and pepper into the foil. You can add thinly sliced veggies of your choice, or cook some white rice to go along with it. Throw it in the oven on 450 for fifteen minutes and you've got a great meal

Well this isn't a recipe but has more to do with cooking than alien hats. : / I saw this on one of those TV cooking shows. When you have fried something on the stove and have the grease leftover (from bacon for example). You take a piece of aluminum foil and put it on the top of a glass and make a sort of cup out of it. You can safely pour off hot grease and fold it up and toss it in the trash later when it is cooled and congealed.

BTW it is aluminum foil....for some reason the Brits seem to think there is an extra syllable in there and pronounce it aluminium (with an extra i) don't ask my why LOL.
