| Burning Semen Posted: 12/7/2007 6:46:37 AM | | OK, so have her call her GYN, DUH. No seriously, your semen is very acidic, and apparently she is very sensitive to it. She may also have an infection of somekind, that is on her to check out. However you my dear can help your semen become less acidy by what you eat and drink. Have you looked at your diet lately? Drink more water, lay off the caffine, any kinds of high fat foods, and eat better. Trust me it works. Sounds to me a like a little effort on both of your parts and you will be having better sex in no time. Have Fun!! | |

There was a lot of cases of this when soldiers returned from Dessert Storm back in the 90s. SOme believed that it was due to chemical warfare. Have you been exposed to pesticides or some sort of chemical.
Another theory is depleted uranium used in armor piercing rounds. It's highly toxic and there are limited studies on the long term effects. When the round hits, a small amount of dust is put off and this has been known to create severe health issues in children and others. Unfortunately, uranium has some ideal properties for use as a weapon, so the military has been very reluctant to investigate it further.
OP: Ask her if she's had this problem before, some women are just allergic. I knew a woman that loved to give oral, but ask me to not cum in her mouth because it burned. Vaginal sex didn't bother her. I don't think there is much you can do if you're already healthy and have a healthy diet. Just use condoms until she can see her doctor.

| Burning Semen Posted: 12/7/2007 6:02:35 PM | | ...someone I think mentioned that drinking water beforehand might reduce the acidity of the semen.....semen is normally very alkaline, so not likey.....I have heard of a semen allergy before....could be......semen gets absorbed through the lining of the vagina.....which is good since it reportedly contains anti-inflamatory and anti-stress factors....in this case though....better off using condoms..............and, no.....I'm not a doctor.......but I DID stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night........ | |

| Burning Semen Posted: 12/7/2007 6:16:38 PM | You know how perfumes really smell good on one person and really really dont smell good at all on another? A biological chemical reaction?
Maybe it's the same with your stuff and her?
|
| Burning Semen Posted: 12/7/2007 8:14:26 PM | | It could be an allergy. It could be a spermicide issue. It could be that you're undergoing chemo, or have other medical treatments that are loading you with chemicals. | |
|
| Burning Semen Posted: 12/7/2007 8:48:13 PM | boit: That last bit was too funny!
Like many others said go to the Dr. to get it checked out together. I can't see it being an allergic reaction if shes only in pain for a min or so... You are more then likely to acidic for her.

| Burning Semen Posted: 12/8/2007 6:14:05 PM | I know when I first read the title of this thread I thought maybe it was a new thing people did. Lit semen on fire. | |

| Burning Semen Posted: 12/8/2007 7:40:29 PM | | You body inside is 98.6 so sperm is 98.6 degrees. the outside of the human body is around 80 degrees. Could be her skin is really sensitive to that much of a temperture change. Just an idea. Now if she flames on I would call the Fantastic 4 for a job interview!! | |

| Burning Semen Posted: 12/19/2007 10:49:27 PM | I believe Global Warming is real. I am as much of a fan of Al Gore as the next person. But i think we need to give Ethanol and other alternative fuels a chance before we try this idea. | |
|
| Burning Semen Posted: 12/20/2007 12:37:39 AM | Well... it takes approximately 450lbs of corn, to produce the pure ethanol it would take to fill ONE tank of fuel for an SUV... So, how many men would it take, to fill the same tank?? My God!,. imagine what a semen collection point would look like! still,.. it IS a "renewable" source. | |

| Burning Semen Posted: 12/20/2007 8:37:42 AM | It happened once when I had a flu some time prior to intimacy. It was a few days after the worst of the flu symptoms and I was feeling fine then. Alas my ejaculate caused considerable burning discomfort to my partner and it lingered for a few days. It never happened again. So we concluded that the particular flu bug had some effect on my semen.
A check with my doctor assured me this was normal.
