If women want love they have to separate it out from physical experience so it can match the swirly music of their favorite movie.
Well that explains it...since my favorite movies are like Braveheart, Last of the Mohicans, Man from Snowy River, and yes( Lord help me) Van Helsing...there's no swirly music( I can't STAND 98% of the so called "chick flicks, so sue me and yank my "gal card" LOL)
Personally, I prefer to both make love AND have sex at the same time with the same guy. I can,if need be,separate the 2 on a temporary basis, but since I require both to maintain a meaningful longterm relationship, my romantic goals are a little more challenging and harder to achieve( but you tend to have greater appreciation of that which has required harder work/longer search). I'd LIKE to find that magical combination, but I don't HAVE to be with someone...I'd hate to force myself into a "settled for" relationship and then have the guy I was really MEANT to be with come along, and overlook me because I'm "with someone"( make no mistake the guy I'm really meant to be with is an honorable man who would not be trying to steal away another man's woman, and as a woman of honor I can't imagine too many things more awful than to have to choose between my own happiness or not hurting the man I had "settled for".) That's my own personal credo, I would not dream of pushing it as more "right" than someone else's. Cindy O

A smart man makes the women believe he is making love so he can enjoy having sex. I ran across a guy like that not to long ago, ( we did not have sex, I just KNOW he was that kind of smart),but I couldn't get his wife to sell him to me... Cindy O

| What is the difference between Having Sex and Making Love Posted: 7/7/2008 4:10:28 PM | For me, its a mood and setting thing....Sex is a state of tension between the two, each filled with lust - whereas making love takes a deeper step, (still sexually charged) but more a subconcious desire to be one with the other, mind spirit, body.
Hmmm, I guess they both sound the same....it's really up to perception and the moment.

Guess my choice would be the leasing option (you know, the owner/lessor still takes care of maintenance and upkeep)! Nah, she wouldn't even lease...something about not being able to spare him... Cindy O

| What is the difference between Having Sex and Making Love Posted: 7/7/2008 7:38:35 PM | | At the end of it "making love"= is still sex!!!! I think its an emotional state of mind. Depends what your in it for, the relationship, the person you care for , or the person you just want to get it on with (i.e. no attachments). Making love is by definition something with some sort of feelings and meaning behind it but its still sex. If you are just having sex than i wouldnt call it making love , id just call it sex. So the meaning to the word is held both ways by definition when Making Love/=SEX but you cant associate making love when just having sex. Meaning SEX is not equivilant to = Making Love. | |

| What is the difference between Having Sex and Making Love Posted: 7/7/2008 11:18:04 PM | | Having sex, is just that....It is just the act of sex....be it oral or penetration...It is just for the gratification that the act of sex brings........Making Love, there is always feelings involved....And it is a lot more in depth then just having sex....More passion, more spark...More kissing.....In my mind when you make love it isn't the rough, "I wanna **** you now" or the "let's have a quickie"...Making love to your partner involves more time and FOREPLAY.... | |

| What is the difference between Having Sex and Making Love Posted: 7/8/2008 3:18:57 AM | Sex is the rough way, you just want to do it any how, you don't care, any style, (Doggy style, free verse, long stroke, lolipop, 25shots, bullet proof , monkey on a tree, Kung fu, to the left, to the right, swing your rag, on ya face, let me come, roll that boat, on your back, horsing, super man, like a bird), etc..........
But Love Making, is when you get to look into her eyes, and say to her, (YES, I LOVE YOU) saying that to her with a (Firing Kiss) and then you kiss her again, and again, until she's about to explode in your arms.
So OP, you can see there's a great difference between them.
