| What is the difference between Having Sex and Making Love Posted: 6/21/2009 5:57:02 PM | I didn't read all the pages of this thread so if this has already been stated ^5 to the person that stated this.
Sex....purely a physical need that needs to be satisfied
Making love: a mental/psychological along with a physical need that needs to be satisfied.
Hence my opinion that you can have sex with anyone. But, you can only make love to one person.

Believe me ......... the act of 'sex' ........ 'making love' ........ can take your breath away with its power. It is beautiful. It is pure.

| What is the difference between Having Sex and Making Love Posted: 7/21/2009 5:42:58 PM | It's a MIND and emotional response. Depends on your frame of mind at the time. You could be doing both at once. I could be making love to a woman who's just having sex with me.........................................................................................................................................
BANG ! BANG ! LOL | |

| What is the difference between Having Sex and Making Love Posted: 7/21/2009 7:36:21 PM | Well... ...how about if I am greedy and I want it all? I have a man who is just so darn sexy that I can't resist him when he's got lovin' on his mind. The best thing? It is making love because we love. It is to the soul. Our mutual pleasure is important, but what is most important is the expression of our love through love-making. Sex?? Oh..yes! That is the passion....against the wall stuff...clothes dropped along the hallway... Got to have that in a relationship that works...yumm.. | |

I'd like to ask both the men and the woman this question:
What would you say is the difference between "Having Sex" and "Making Love" ________________________________________________________
One is a physical act; the other is an artform where two human souls and hearts meet.

| What is the difference between Having Sex and Making Love Posted: 7/21/2009 10:10:41 PM | | For me, having sex would be a casual, spontaneous, spur of the moment activity just for the purpose of release and physical gratification, then you go back to what you were doing before the mood hit. Making love would be an eager anticipated yearning to satisfy the mind, body, and soul not just for yourself, but also for your partner... a truly moving experience which effects take a while to subside, but will still linger in the back of your mind. | |

| What is the difference between Having Sex and Making Love Posted: 7/21/2009 11:33:09 PM | sex is meaninless without love
making love is sex and loving the person you are with
the fact is, the 2nd one is far more worth it, the first one leaves you feeling like something is missing all the time, Id bet even those guys who get alot of well ya know, get tired of it after awhile and try really hard to find someone to make love to
sex is not worth doing, unless you want someone to be connected with for a longterm way, after all, isnt it worth finding love and making love with them, or just using as many people as you could and never really finding meaning in the very act of sex
I pose that question to all the players, in the end:is it really worth it?

| What is the difference between Having Sex and Making Love Posted: 7/22/2009 3:35:54 PM | I don't always read all of the pages either so my comments might sometimes seem 'out of context'.
'This', however, is pretty fundamental.
Sex? An 'urge' that needs to be satisfied? Does it? Are we incapable of self-control? Do we respond as an animal would?........simply to the call/urge of 'nature'? ........ I'd like to believe we are more intelligent but pretty much everything I learn tells me otherwise. Sad reflection. Don't you think?
Yes ....... you can 'have sex' with anyone ........ you might 'enjoy/appreciate'/you might not. You can only 'make love' with one person and reaching that point takes time.
