| Why are men still single and please be honest Posted: 11/18/2008 9:40:30 AM | Exactly my point, and the one that was made earlier in the thread. People wanna whine about how it is their incomes, their cars, their status in the food chain, their jobs, their height....LOL...but they need to reevaluate themselves and recognize that maybe it is THEM.
I rather have a man in a junky truck that's paid for, with a job that he enjoys going to, who has a modest home he can afford, who is honest, trustworthy, caring, loyal, sweet, romantic, and faithful....ANY DAY.
Those last seven things are the challenges, by the way!!!

| Why are men still single and please be honest Posted: 11/20/2008 6:21:21 PM | | wrong thread but i think that goes for the females too >>maybe men/females are single because they get ran over by the women/men they want to date and just say wtf and give up | |
|
| Why are men still single and please be honest Posted: 11/20/2008 6:28:59 PM | Wellll....if they say wtf and give up, I guess they should not be on a singles site?! I mean, who wants to meet someone who is nowhere near ready for dating...who is hung up on their last relationship...who has so many fears and such a high wall that they do not belong here, anyway?!
But...Bay & Skip...I don't think women ran them over...I think it was their own faults! LOL

| Why are men still single and please be honest Posted: 11/20/2008 7:15:43 PM | | knowing when to put on the brakes, or when to rev the engine, thats the secret to not getting 'runnned' over by a male / or female, and oh, share the drivers seat too. | |

| Why are men still single and please be honest Posted: 11/20/2008 7:23:05 PM | Okay here is the deal, I went to a persons home (Will not mention who, cause they did not show up!) ((Wait... there was 5 of us there for a cookout....)) My reverse does not work in my truck and a certain FBG said I needed to park off street. So I was pushing my truck into a place to park... It was on a hill and when I went to set the brakes, I tripped and was drug under the moving vehicle... With it running over one leg and stopping on the other... Meanwhile, ripping my clothes and causing me to bleed... No broken bones or stitches were needed... I am not really an actor, just a stunt man out of work
Now Bay, he shared this story with me one night at That One Place in Fenton, was working on his vehicle and had his ex do something and it put the vehicle in gear and it came down on him... Now ladies do you see why Bay is mistrustful of women???
|
| Why are men still single and please be honest Posted: 11/20/2008 8:21:58 PM | it wasn't that she just had it in gear, it's that she turned the key, started it up and literally tried to drive down the driveway using me as the front wheels!
She rubbed it in real good later when she told me all the time i was under the car gettin crushed and unable to breath, her only concern was her going to prison for murder....
Yeah baybee, bring on the single psycho chickies!!!! At least the sex is usually good!

| Why are men still single and please be honest Posted: 11/30/2008 4:16:21 PM | I dont think mentioning names in the 4um's is a great ideal, also think it may get you banned. (I believe I read this in the 4um policy page at some point)
Personally i think simply deleting emails with out a reply is rude. A simple 'sorry but not interested' is enough, if they continue then block them, if that doesn't work, report them to the admins and let them deal with them. -------------- On your second post.... First, multiple postings are not allowed, you have up to 15 minutes to edit your last posting (you should probably read the 4um rules). Also I think calling someone a moron pretty much shows an attitude. Rather than simply ignore the person you bring it to a public 4um.
One other thing to consider, this is the internet, most people don't care about spelling and grammar and a lot of ppl like to abrev a lot, even more don't know how to type let alone use a pc. I've been in the computer industry for over 30 years and i still go back and re-read some of my postings and see a LOT of typo's..

Well put. Its too bad the individual you are referring to has yet to check-in with reality.

| Why are men still single and please be honest Posted: 11/30/2008 5:03:47 PM | that would be an example of a typo. Almost all of my postings have typo's, words that are missing letters, have extra letters or simply dont make sense.
I dont know about anyone else but to me, the posting of the email and his HANDLE in the 4ums seems like you have anger issues too (this is the correct usage of too isn't it???)
My comment about ignoring emails being rude wasn't directed at you but everyone that deletes emails. Maybe you and others should think how it would appear if your emails were simply deleted without a reply? Seems rude that when someone puts in the time and effort to say hi, it's rude to simply turn your back and tell them you're to good to reply. Also, i said it was just my opinion, to each their own but i reply to EVERY email i receive no matter if i'm interested or not.
Also everyone should read the rules. You have rules for guest at your house, there are rules here... 1 message 3 times is not the only daffynition of multiple postings, sorry, go read the rules, no posting multiple messages without allowing others to respond, no chatting in the 4ums (what we're doing) and other rules. I simply pointed these out so that you knew what the rules were and could continue to post.
Also, posting a handle is the same as a real name here. Actually real names are a lessor issue since the chance of anyone knowing the real person is slim vs anyone with a keyboard has the ability to look up that users profile by the id you supplied so they are known by all.
Education varies in it's forms, some have expertise in writting, reading, mechanics, computers and other areas, but no one is an expert in all. Tolerance in all things is usually a good thing
