It's a simple matter of importance... As in what's more important...
And having nothing but bad relationships my entire life, until the very last one, i'm not in a hurry to jump into another one. The next i hope is my last and i'm not planning any pit-stops along the way. I've grown comfortable in my life, dont see a reason to make it worse ..... better on the other hand is a day to day thing!
To many looking to hook up even if it's 'not right' ... more i believe because they dont want to be alone, and that isn't a good enough reason for me. I want the one that i'm one with, the one that reaches for my hand cause she knows i'm reaching for hers, slides up n rest in my lap watchin the tellie just cause she wants to be with me, the one that.... well reminds me of dino on the flinstones when fred comes home! | |

Posted: 9/27/2008 11:10:55 PM | I am single cause I have not found someone whom I am attracted to whom is attracted to me, I suppose. Seems women I find attractive do not find me attractive and ones who do find me attractive, I do not find them so... Guess I am too picky, I do not drink, so do not go to bars and have not found women in church to my liking as well. When I do find a women who I am aquainted with attractive, I become the big ol'country boy who can not talk.
I have had my fair share of relations and they have all ended in failure. Kind of makes one gun shy...
I decided several years ago that food service was to be my mistress. She treats me well and people always need something to eat so she is always there! | |

Oh yeah, get away from the bar and go mingle wiff the chickies! Even if you don't hit it off with one of the ones there, they have sisters (sometimes TWINS!!!  )friends, relatives, neighbors, co-workers etc etc... And even if you never get a love match, you made some cool friends!
I go to get out and relax, no expecations, see a few friends, harass a few new ones!
Ya cant give up, never know, you may be standing at a pof par-tay and turn to leave, run into a cutie, knock her to the floor and dump your drink all over her and when you look down well dayum, there she is!!! She probably will never forgive ya for dumping your drink but hey, she might be the one you succeed with! (Oh and a word of advice, offer to help her up, goes a long ways to making up for being a clutz! - not speaking from experience ya know )

Have to watch out for them chcikies, they bite! or is it that they have cooties... damn the things I forget as I get older....

Posted: 9/28/2008 5:50:22 AM | Well last night at the Party... I certainly went up to alot of men to introduce myself and leave the door WIDE open for communication with me. Guess no-0ne really liked what they saw, or those standards they have got in the way again..
Thats my opinion on why some of the MO guys are still single.
I am probably single because I end up being too much of a social flirt???? Was I TOO friendly??? I have absolutely no IDEA about me! | |

Posted: 9/28/2008 8:23:24 AM | Well, can't speak for all men, only myself. First, I was a bit of a late bloomer in life and had to overcome some obstacles before I could really spread my wings. Also, I decided not to become a parent, as I didn't feel I would be a good and happy father. That unfortunately limits the dating pool quite a bit.
I'm not overly picky and don't have a big shopping list of what I'm looking for in a mate, I guess I just haven't been in the right places at the right times with the right people. | |
