Then "Ohne Diche" by Rammstein,
Then back to Metallica for "Wasting my hate".
All of which have meaning if you look at the lyrics.....

At that time, I was 'recovering' from the loss of a serious relationship which ended following events of 20th September, so I played 'Nevermore' quite a bit during that period.
Thankfully, that relationship was rescued, but sadly is no more...
 
MSG 83 I love your choice of Nothing Else Matters, by the awesome Metallica, but you've also added the words to 'One', lol.
Two cracking songs, of course......Nothing Else Matters is about the perfect relationship which is still going - so I rarely play it when I'm dumped!

I don't really get it?
I knew girls when I was younger who did and it just seemed to make matters worse.
My ex of 14 years got quite heavily into Joss Stone when we split up.
We shared the same house (pretty much amicably) for 8 months after splitting until the purchase of my house went through.
He wanted to see her live and asked me. to go. I agreed..she was ok.
We missed a birthday each with no card or anything which was all fine (I haven't done a card nor pressie since we split) and then for an unspecific birthday he bought me Joss Stone's latest cd. The card was written by the lady he was seeing at the time.
I found it a bit odd..but haven't listened to the cd yet.
That was er...6 years ago I think. | |
