| home gym versus public gym Posted: 7/8/2008 9:55:05 AM | I have a nice gym set up in my basement and everything still looks new...(LOL)..8 years old. I LOVE going to the gym and detoxing myself of the days stress. When Im down stairs..I can hear kids runing around, phone ringing, thinking about dinner, and laundry, things I could be cleaning, and whats on T.V. At the Gym it's just me , my music and the equipment.
Besides the fact that A. Im paying and want to use every penny of it. B. If I drive to the gym w. gas prices the way they are...Im going to work out and make it worth the drive. ( yes im cheap...LOL) | |

| home gym versus public gym Posted: 7/8/2008 6:38:35 PM | I have a gym membership and also work out at home with Billy Blanks. He is the best and will whip you into shape in no time. I haven't used my gym membership in a while now. I look better working out with billy blanks then I when I was going to the gym. I lose 50lbs. Went from 170 to 120 in about 6-7 months. I am proud of myself. It was all diet and exercise. I love to work out. | |

| home gym versus public gym Posted: 7/10/2008 1:14:17 AM | I have a couch that I seldom use. My TV is in front of my treadmill. I guess that makes me a "treadmill potato". I can't remember what it's like watching the news sitting down. I also have a home gym. It's just a part of my normal routine like eating breakfast or taking out the garbage. I miss the social interaction of going to the gym. But I get a better workout at home. | |
