Sorry to break the news to ya but urine is sterile.
Yeah but....
Urine has many substances. The most problematic are these:
Urea - a subtance that is sticky and helps the urine stick to things;
Urochrome - a substance that turns urine yellow;
Uric Acid - an acid that can stink;
Ketones - A somewhat stinky substance;
Acetone - Stinky (but we already knew that).
As the moisture in the urine dries out, and what's in the urine is less diluted, the stinkiness is more concentrated. That's why urinals don't smell nice.  | |

It's not like the need to urinate creeps up on you and you feel like you gotta pee like there's no tomorrow. Or go before the shower. You're showering to get squeaky clean! I think you'd have to piss in the shower a whole lot to prevent athletes foot... and then let it dy on your feet... yuck...
I remember madonna saying this on letterman.. or perhaps conan o'brien.. I really don't think it does anything for athletes foot.. not only because I don't believe the concentration would be high enough (what with the water running and all) but the fact that urine is made up of somewhere around 95% water the rest being urea and other mineral, proteins, and toxins, also the length of time the contact would be there is too limited as well.
The chemical in urine that is supposed to help skin conditions/fungal/bacterial infections is urea which is converted to ammonia, so perhaps that would help... if you were to say.. um.. soak your feet in conentrated urine for an hour a day or something
you could soak your feet in salt water or bleach water and it would be more effective... tea trea oil works great I would rather use that. | |

That is just disgusting. With a toilet in such close proximity, are people just THAT lazy that they can't pee before they get in the shower... or just hop out for a quick sec? I would so hate to be the next person to use that shower.
