I enjoyed it, my daughters were clinging to me and jumping every couple of scenes. I did not expect it to be so scary. There was one scene with his shepard that we all cried in. I think it is worth the time to see. Will Smith looks great and as always gave an awesome performance.

I saw this last night and I enjoyed it. I do recall getting the shite scared out of me and jumping out of my seat during one scene. I had never heard of Omega Man before reading this forum so perhaps thats why I didn't feel disappointed that it was a knock off of another flick.

I was quite sad when he had to kill his dog. I thought that it was funny how he "lost it" afterwards and went to take out as many of these mutants as possible on that suicide mission.

I also immensely enjoyed the first 5 minutes of the flick. Out of all the cars he had at his disposal he choose a Mustang. Smart lad.

This is yet another stupid zombie movie. Where you become a zombie, when the zombie bites you.

I was under the impression that it was airborn towards humans, so simply being within close proximity would do the trick.

And why were humans, rats and dogs the only animals effected by the infection? Why not the dear and the lions or even birds? That would have made for a way more cool movie I think.

I'm quoting different posters here, but viruses aren't usually that indiscriminant. In the case of the movie, though , all of the creatures affected were unable to go out into the light of day, so it leaves room for infected lions and such even though the subject wasn't broached.

I rarely keep up with what's in the box office, which usually keeps my expectations down. The movie seemed pretty average to me. The CG was disappointing for something made in this day and age.

It makes you think, but in the end there have been numerous "zombie" movies based on viruses and mutations, so it's hard to really call it unique aside from the fact that the "zombies" weren't technically undead.

It started? When a Ford stars when you need it to you know it's only a movie.

I also immensely enjoyed the first 5 minutes of the flick. Out of all the cars he had at his disposal he choose a Mustang. Smart lad.

I thought it was great! We took a different route for Xmas and ditched the Family (dys)Function and went to see "I am Legend." I'm not a huge fan of either action or sci/fi but I liked this. I thought Will Smith really acted in this movie. I love his sarcastic/dark humor and the coping skills his character employs. I don't want to spoil any scences, but I shed a few tears along with many other members of the audience.

Shocking film.
Too many special effects, many that didn't look right and many for no reason, just because they could. If you want to see one very similar, but much better made, try "28 days later". Very much the same, but way, way better. It is basically the same story, shot in England, but made by people that want to make films, not by people want to make computer games...

You kinda have to suspend reality. I mean who kept the power and water running for him???

I enjoyed it, just didn't think too much during it. Kinda park your brain at the door.

I liked the movie, as far as the theatrical ending compared to the alternate ending, I seem to like the alternate ending instead, some people don't......

I liked it, but like another poster stated, it ended up very much like The Stand... it just ended. All the way through it was giving us more and more info as to what was going on, getting us into it and then... BAM... it was over. But I'd still recommend it.

I just saw it last nite. Didn't like it AT all. I usually love anything Will Smith does, but THIS was a waste of his talent and was a stupid movie in my opinion.

Dear hunting in Manhattan from an 07 GT500 Mustang was the highlight for me. Was that before or after the opening credits?

***SPOILERS***

In my opinion, the weakest ending of any film starring Will Smith.
I was sitting during the credits thinking it couldn't be over, because of how it ended.
They must have edited the bejeebus out of it.

It was creepy, I'll admit that. Will Smith was convincing. But it wasn't the best movie I've seen and for some reason it disturbed me. Would I see it again? I don't think so, and I love horror movies, but for some reason it didn't bode well with me.

I was not a big fan of it. It seems this day in age, more focus is being put on product placement and less on entertainment. I mean just the first 10 minutes alone felt like one big Ford commercial. That nice shiny mustang did not fit in with what was supposed to be the end of the world. Also notice that every car in the entire movie was a Ford and every computer was a Mac.
