I don't know iTsMeJuLi - at least its not a boring topic . I think 10 more pages will be needed before it's time of death.
Speaking of which - for anyone who has dated a older women vice versa what is it like?
I've never tried to chase an older woman - I think the rejection would hurt far greater then this:
Woman - age (46): Hi there!
Guy - age (25): Your too old!
Woman - age(46): Oh well your loss.
Guy - age(25): ha!
Women ego - *shot*

Older women can give off The! ego killer that can make a younger guy scorn for life. I think is safer to just stay within your age group - or around it. Though, I'm not saying that kind of a relationship is unreasonable.
I wonder, how does a older woman's friends react to such a relationship?

If I was to put the same words in form of why I'd rather have a younger chick, I would have been bashed all the way to next week and then some. Proof that this is a double standard.

Okay Smile, why would rejection from an older woman be any more hurtful or scathing than a rejection from a younger woman? Is it because SOME younger men perceive older women as desperate for young guys, so to be rejected would be a rejection from a desperate woman? I think a rejection from an "undesirable" is probably more ego killing that a rejection from someone hot. | |

She was a total fantasy for me; experience, few hang-ups, confident, independent. I was young, mature, energetic. We were together for about 6 months, and it ended nicely. Still very close.
My last real relationship lasted about 11 months.. I was 24, she was 32 (~7 years). She was not quite with-it.
I think it really depends on the chemistry. | |

I could dive into this even more but I want to keep this simple love is measured by how you feel about your partner, "what may be right for some, isn't right for all" so if your happy with someone don't let anyone take that from you, it's your life and we only live it once.

I think it really depends on what both people want out of the relationship. For me, it was pure play and fun. He liked older women. It worked for both of us. | |

Older, with a tight Yoni that rocks... and you sound like someone who never dated and older woman or you sucked as a lover. Women peak sexually when older while men peak at a young age. Sounds like nature wanted cougars to be with cubs! | |

Older women know there is younger, more attractive competition out there, so they are more willing to compromise and be easier to get along with. They have wisdom and knowledge of how to treat and please a man. PLUS, many of them are established financially, so money is not the end all goal. Older women want male companionship whereas, I think many young women are looking for a man to provide a certain lifestyle. | |

Hey I was just turning around a quote from an older woman on why they love younger men after this it proves my double standard point. The woman can critize the older men by saying that the younger men can do more than the older men. But I put her in her place and get critized saying that I "sucked as a lover." I guess you only read what you choose to read. And not the entire post. Woops, your bad.
By the way that is not my opinion of older women I was just "flipping the coin" to show how rediculous that sounded. IMO I think as long as the older women don't get on to me about wanting someone younger than me then I won't get on to them wanting the same. But I will be the first to point out a double standard no matter what my personal opinion.
