| older women younger men Posted: 5/13/2009 8:36:31 PM | I generally prefer younger men. But I have my limits. Most likely I wouldn't date a man that is more than 15 years youngrt than me. I probably wouldn't be compatible with a man when the age difference between us is that large.

I've never enjoyed being a "cougar", as I've never found a younger man who was at a good maturity level. I'm not saying all younger men are immature, I just haven't found any yet. So, I go for the old dude
A 29 yr old woman probably wouldn't be considered to be a cougar. At your age many men who are about 5-10 yrs younger than you are still maturing. A 5-10 yrs age difference becomes less important when you get older.

| older women younger men Posted: 5/25/2009 12:42:09 PM | | Amen to that. Im a 20 year old man in Palm Beach and I have had my fair share of women, but I must say, the older the better. With everything. Attitude, maturity, conversational skills, even sex, is better with a woman who is atleast 28 years old. | |

| older women younger men Posted: 5/25/2009 2:20:10 PM | The sameway I feel about a older man younger women =) Its only a number but finding some on here who don't agree w/that philosophy. But theres a few if your 2 years older/younger your a foul-ball. I think if theres chemistry & enough things in common overall why not ? | |

| older women younger men Posted: 6/10/2009 8:39:03 PM | I tend to attract/date younger guys, never had any problems regarding the age difference, people usually assume we're in the same age group but it's not just about "sex"... as long as he's not on some "BULL" it's all good.[/b | |

| older women younger men Posted: 6/25/2009 7:08:38 AM | Much like the forbidden fruit, hmm "Is it OK for me to have a partner who is much older or younger than I am?" You'll do better off if you forget about your ages and concentrate on whether the relationship works for both of you, or not. What really makes a romantic relationship succeed is the: (((((emotional connection)))). | |

| older women younger men Posted: 7/3/2009 8:11:26 AM | Most of my best relationships have been with younger men...I have been a Cougar my whole life...even before when it was kind of forbidden, it never bothers me what people think anyway...my friends and family all love me so who cares!!!!!!. I am bored with most men my age (I just turned 64 last month and still going strong). The youngest long term relationship I had was 22 years younger and I finally broke up with him because he "acted too old"..REALLY!!!! Have fun you Cougars and GO FOR IT!!!!! | |

How do you feel about a sexual relationship between a younger man and an older woman?
For myself, no my optimal choice. I prefer them 10 years older.
In general, it should be about how the specific couple feels about it. They are the ones sharing and living it. If they are happy, it's all good.

| older women younger men Posted: 7/18/2009 9:05:16 AM | | Young at heart has always had me seeking younger men. At 58, I enjoy the companionship of younger men. I work hard at staying physically fit and try to be the best I can be. Most men in my age group are balding, have some disgusting facial hair, overweight and not even physically fit. I'm just not seeing the sexual attraction there at all. A man in his 40's is usually in much better physical shape, more attentive and fun. Usually divorced and now knows what is important to him. I like them at this stage in their lives. They don't cling, I'm not doing their laundry, preparing their meals or paying their bills. I get the best of them and they get the best of me. | |

| older women younger men Posted: 7/18/2009 3:51:51 PM | | Well, age is a matter of the mind. If you don't mind it does't matter. I was married to my guy for 30 years and we were together 2 years befor that and it worked just fine. He was 10 years my junior and he just passed away on Christmas Eve of 08. So don't tell me that that can't work, you both have to work at it . | |

| older women younger men Posted: 7/20/2009 4:14:06 AM | ^^^ Nice to see is was not just a sexual relationship that worked out well there.
I admit that a younger guy is more appealing although I couldn't go for more than about ten years difference, if that. My last LTR was with a guy who was six years younger, never was a problem, we broke up due to reasons other than age.
However I would not have the confidence to initiate a relationship with a younger guy. I confess I have had to tell a few men that I view their advances in a negative light due to their being much older than me, so would really hate to be seen the same way. I reconcile the double standard by being comfortable as long as the younger party shows interest first.
