If I'm Greek, does that automatically make me gay?
Q: Why did the immigrant guy pack up and return to Athens?
A: He didn't want to leave his buddy's behind.
Q: Why did the immigrant girl pack up and return to Paris?
A: It seems she missed her native tongue.
Q: What did the one gay so politely ask the other gay in the bar?

1. Now that you-all have basically seized popular usage of the term gay, making it hard for straight guys to show too much exuberance, what are some other previously innocent words that are now standard terminology in gaydom. You may offer a few, or cover the subject from top to bottom, but please let the straight guys hang on to "****" a little longer, it's nearly all we got.
I say you can be as exuberant as you want to be, so long as you don't care what opinions other people have or may get about you. As for gay terms here are a few: Bear: A hairy man usually with a big belly and rather large in stature. Queen: The stereotype effeminate homosexual Top: sexually dominant Bottom: sexually submissive (these work for the srt8 community too!) Flaming: Extravagantly flamboyant and flaunting, usually applied to gay men with effeminate traits. Dyke: a masculine lesbian Lipstick: a very girly lesbian Diesel dyke: a hyper-aggressive lesbian (or one who works as a mechanic) Fag Hag: A heterosexual woman who socializes extensively or prefers the company a gay man (or many gay men). Sometimes, but not always pejorative. (i.e. Mominatrix) and a C*ck is just a big chicken.
You can get started with those. I would like to defer to Mominatrix for your second question. After all, she is my hag (see above for definition) and has almost as much experience with gaydom if not a little more in certain areas She is also the more political between us.
As for question #3, once I procure a glass of wine and relax for a few minutes( this working for a living really blows) I will be back to address that one.

how can homosexuals vote GOP without self-loathing? Because any person of sense, could never justify voting a for a party over one single issue. If they like the majority of issues on the platform and dislike the other party's issues, they use their thought processes to make a decision they can live with.
Secondly, why do you think transgender persons get less respect than the late Rodney Dangerfield, even in the gay community? This question is harder and I can only offer my theories, but I think that in the gay community there is an emphasis on being naturally what you are, rather than going to extreme measures to change. Also, if you like men and are a man, then become a woman, aren't you actually straight at that time?
But overall, the move to include the transgendered in the full spectrum of the community has really grown over the past ten years. It's quickly becoming a non issue.
However, bi persons seem to still be a sensitive subject. They are called fence sitters.

Is it really so wrong to wear white after Labor Day? (Ooops, wrong thread...) Since this is really rather a cross-over question I'll take it here. Wearing white clothing after Labor Day was never an issue, the no white after LD was for shoes specifically. I was never intended for clothing.
Personally, I think if you have the self-confidence to pull it off, and you look good in it ...GO FOR IT!
|
| ASK A GAY GUY Posted: 12/18/2007 7:23:07 PM | I vote against GOP on one issue alone...
There is a separation between church and state, and until the religious jackasses get out of the party, I will vote against it.

Just because someone is gay does not mean they enjoy cross-dressing*(check upcoming posts for definitions) If that were true, then by wearing tails, would you be considered a Lesbian?? Bigotry, in all of its many forms is unattractive and offensive.
Hey. This is about having fun with this subject. I can say with no reservation whatsoever that my gay friend would not be offended or assign anything to this other than playful banter.
He is ultra conservative. I always tease him about the silk editor pants, argyle socks, and bow tie atop a dark green cashmere vest. He also carries a huge Louis Vuitton bag that I keep threatening to mug him for. I tell him there HAS TO BE something constitutionally wrong with a gay Republican carrying a Louis Vuitton bag...
He roars, as we should be doing with this subject matter.

At least try to keep your personal distaste for me from twisting everything I say. For the record, I do not like or dislike you....as you are fond of pointing out, I and others don't know you. As for twisting everything you say...I don't think that is what I did. Was my copy and paste incorrect? Did you not type

Bigotry, in all of its many forms is unattractive and offensive. I felt your statement was in poor taste. As for Sock's jokes, I personally found them amusing. If you were offended by them, perhaps you should tell him.

It's ok, I was already told off once today for having the audacity to have a less than friendly opinion, it went about as well as people telling me off ever does.
I already know where I am going, I am just hoping you are going to save me a good spot next to the lava lake...
Now where was I? oh yes, trying to not decimate the kitchen while playing with todays round of "what, there is a limit as to how much booze you can make in a year?" the home game...

Wearing white clothing after Labor Day was never an issue, the no white after LD was for shoes specifically. That explains why some person scolded me from a passing car on a street corner in Boston one fall! I always wondered about the authority of her grievance. Thanks GG.

cross-dressing*(check upcoming posts for definitions) Cross Dresser: Anyone who wears clothes traditionally associated with the opposite gender or sex. Transvestite: a person and especially a male who adopts the dress and often the behavior typical of the opposite sex especially for purposes of emotional or sexual gratification.
