My favorite band from the 80s is Journey. I love "Open Arms" and "Faithfully Yours" by them. I also loved Asia - "The Heat of the Moment" and "Only Time Will Tell." I liked Night Ranger, Toto, Asia, and even some of the alternative guys from that time like Duran Duran. Whoo-hoo...makes me feel young again! LOL

Now I was a small kid when it first came out and it was overplayed to death, but for useless 70's pop?

Hard to beat "Knock 3 times" by Tony Orlando and Dawn.

Ugh..I can't believe I admitted that on a public forum...

I have a ton of 'em, but most recently...

"Come On Eileen" - Dexy's Midnight Runners
"Cut The Cake" - Average White Band

BTW, reading through this has sent me off to LimeWire to add songs to my library!

Hey, onesimpleneed;

You're not gonna believe this, but Tony Orlando & Dawn aren't even the original artists. The original (and better, IMO) was a country star of the era named Billy "Crash" Craddock.

Funcrazy.

"Always a woman to me" -- Billy Joel
"Only the good die young"

And the lyrics from Fever Tree
"Love makes the sun rise
Love makes the sun set
Love is the only thing I haven't had yet
The ONLY thing." -- song unknown, any other obscure music lover who knows the title? Its on the Creation album.
