the true and honest guys have been turned into nasty guys who treat women with no respect, after all i personally thought thats what women really wanted.
i used to be honest and genuine and caring and respectfull...that was before women hurt me and abused me and treated me like i was a fool, i admit because of my kindness i unknowingly let them treat me like a fool.
so, there you have it.
instead of treating the true , honest, kindhearted , respectfull guys like shite and then complaining where have all the genuine guys have gone , treat the decent, kind hearted guys better in the first place BEFORE its too late.
it maybe too late for me as iam beyond saving, i dont have a heart left only sadness, hate, bitterness and blackness.

in the UK a person ( male or female ) can LEGALLY engage in any form of sexual activity with any one of ANY age from their 16th birthday.
any man over 25 can legally have sexual intercourse with a woman 16 years or over, he could be 100 and still be well within his " rights" to have sexual activity with a 16 year old.
not saying many 16 year old women would want to try and engage in any sexyal activity with a man that old...............unless of course he had a bottomless wallet . | |

Posted: 1/2/2008 6:16:36 AM | Hi! I'm from Southern MN and feel much the same as you! I think maybe all the attention and kindnesses we share from our heart, maybe just is too much for some? I feel they kind of like the "cat/mouse" game with them being the cat after we make the first move! Not even sure some like US to make a first move but I just am me, as you are!!
I think the Good, Honest men are all at another site!! haha I think we should start our own site MT girl!! We could SCREEN them ourselves and then make some cash too while we connect Good HONEST men with GOOD HONEST women like US!! 
Know you are NOT ALONE...I do think that some males are afraid of the "emotional" stuff that even comes from friendship...I've had a few tell me that...but often they come back later to me ............who knows??!! Read JOHN GRAYS books...if you haven't regarding the big differences AND likenesses between men/women, how they translate things we say differently and vice versa! Mars/Venus book was the first Gray book...he has written other short ones too, and put all on tape for those MEN out there who care to emotionally connect too! :)

any adult with a brain in Britain knows that any one under 16 is jail bait, above 16 and they are freely available to enjoy any sexual activity with another adult over 16.
in Britain the legal age for friving is 17, to obtain alcohol is 18.
this may of course differ from country to country.
for whatever reason darkchocolat wanted her information and for what purpose i dont know.....ask her.

i dont create the laws.
the UK laws are that anyone 16 or over are legaly sexualy active regardless of wether a male or female at 18 are considered by you to be a " child".....i am not a law maker.
what makes you think iam looking for anyone who is 18 anyway.
the question was asked that a female at 18 is still considered a child.
my reply: according to UK law a female or a male person who is 18 is not considered a child.
in the UK a person is allowed to hold their driving license at 17, would you consider letting a " child" drive your car or any ones car..........if some one who is 18 years old is considered to be still a child then there are thousands of children in Britain holding driving licenses. | |

Posted: 1/2/2008 7:03:57 AM | As many men have mentioned,the nice and honest guys are here,but for some reason the connections aren't made?????Just recently sent 3 e-mails to a woman in Kansas that SEEMED by her profile to be an almost perfect match.I was in the age range she was looking for,had MANY of the same interests, etc....And I gave a LOT of thought before I sent the E-mails,because she made it clear she couldn't relocate...But I did't receieve even 1 reply??????Who knows????

Posted: 1/2/2008 7:59:14 AM | montana, You're right about a woman's being sweet and kind not being enough to keep a man happy w/ her, but it sure helps to lure a few into her fold to start. Believe me that women are not the only gender to have their hearts broken and figuratively 'stomped on by stiletto heels', because of someone's wanting what's not to have. A truth for men: P!ssing and moaning holds no merit for most of us.
While I don't profess to be 100% honest, I am capable of true ...and w/o getting into detail, I've met up w/ a woman met here on POF who seems to understand this. Even though her a second marriage to a man that she met on-line is a genuine horror story, she pulled herself together ...despite even more major setbacks, and put herself back out here w/ an irresistible-to-me loving attitude for life.
Every relationship is different, and we each provide half the ingredients to the 'recipe' ...even if it takes 100% on both 'cooks' behalf to begin making what is palatable to both as one. Yes, sweet and kind is a good start, but spicy in a right measure ...beyond having the courage to 'get back in the kitchen' after some painful experiences for love can go a long way for creating a savory mix w/ a new mate.
Be honest w/ yourself, but isn't this post and this area of Forums a bit counter-productive for such? | |

Posted: 1/2/2008 1:40:39 PM | I agree with the posters who say most women set their standards too high. It reminds me of a girl who I use to know and she was griping about how her bf was treating her bad. When asked why didn't she find a better guy she said there were no good ones left.
With this type of attitude its no wonder that these types of women arent finding any good guys. And yes we're definitely out there getting over looked. Also tattoos while everybody has an opinion of them do not change who you are inside. Maybe like me you like to express yourself through them. The more people can accept us for who we are the better they chance they have on a possible relationship that actually succeeds. You also have to accept them once you find your match.

I used to be one of the type of guys you lament about, then I guess I grew up and since then had a long-term gf lie to me many times and a fiancee lie and cheat on me. Maybe it's payback for how I used to be.....I don't know.
