If you want an exclusive relationship with a lady you need to do whatever it takes to be so appealing to her that she will not be interested in anyone else. | |

it is called dating.... once they decide to date you exclusively (aka boyfriend/girlfriend status) then it would be an issue if they continued to see other people.
I don't see why dating multiple people would be a problem... even if you have been out with the person a couple times still I don't see it to be a big issue..... now, once you find out who is your best match and things are going well.. then that is when you decide to be exclusive to each other and not to see other people...
I do see how it could be a little distateful if you were out with them and they said they had to go because they had another date that night.... otherwise what's the big deal... if things work out.. then the two of you end up together
now if you are one of those people who jump in the sack on the first date.. then perhaps there may be a bit more confusion... especially if you or they are doing the same thing with other people...
but that isn't my idea of dating... | |

Yes, we called back and forth and saw each other, but when they didn't, I was left waiting. I hate that. So now I date lots of men, still looking for that one. All of a sudden, your happiness revolves around that one person and you find yourself expecting them to fulfill all of your needs...i think men are typically the ones who multiple date, but in this day and age, i think more women are seeing some value in doing this until the right one comes along and they are ready to settle,if they are ready to settle. At my age, I have not done this up until now, but now at this point in my life, I think it may be time to keep this options open. | |

Men done this for eons, having women sit around and wait for the phone to ring .. that he'll *maybe* make time for her. So why do some men get upset if women do the same thing - no more. in fact, we probably do less - I do think most women that have dates with more than one person, don't sleep with them. many guys do and treat it as normal. and yet guys get indignant if we go out with more than one person?
Had to go an extra page to find this again....
Reason I dug it up because I had THIS happen to me just last night.
A local woman tell me this, it's part of the email:

At first I thought she was serious with someone....until she told me in another email that she was chatting with some guy WAY Long Distance!
Hm, I could be at the corner restaurant to see her for a cup of coffe within minutes, while she talks to some stranger, that she will probably never meet anyways in person that's long distance.
So she's holdin' out for some guy that she'll probably never see in person anyways.
And I also can't understand how it's not fair....ALL is fair in love and war. lol.
To be honest, I think there's an air of mystery to some women who do the Long distance Online dating thing. Thing is, I could be available to her 24/7 because I'm geographically desirable...while that guy would have to schedule accordingly with less frequency.
So she's being FAITHFUL to a guy she hasn't even been on a DATE with yet.
Another thing I have heard guys do, that they have a system of online dating...it's great for them, because what they do is...they have a woman say like, ' about 4 hrs drive in one direction and another woman, say 3 hrs drive another, and a couple of other women in other areas of the state or across the state borrder

personally I think she's either living a fantasy life and not interested in anything real or she may have also used that as an excuse to not go out with you for whatever reason

What about the men that see different women at once, what name do you have to call them? You want to call women hoes. What about men?

Multi-dating is apparently a big thing in America, personally Im an 'old fashioned' girl and believe that the process of choosing a prospective partner is not equal in importance to that of 'picking' a pair of shoes and trying on each pair, willy nilly.
I like to devote my attentions to one person at a time.
And no, it doesnt mean that these ladies/gentleman are sleeping about but one persons definition of "dating" may not mean the same to everyone else.....

From what i have seen of the other responses on here from women who do choose to date more then one man, sex does not even come into it. It seems to me the responsible thing to do actually. To not jump into an exclusive relationship just because you have gone on a few dates with someone .
By your judgements then i guess i am a loose woman and have been in more beds then titchmarsh's favorite hoe as well. I also don't believe in dating someone exclusively before i know them very well. Funny thing is i haven't had sex in over 10 years. I wonder in what warped universe i am a loose woman? | |

I love this word 'exclusive' too that people keep using.... like they have some kind of special stuff that they dont wanna give to just anybody...lol
I think of it the other way around - what If I was number 2 or 3 in someone's hand-picked collection of girls to date? - not sure Id want that... but if that suites other people then fine....

I like to give anyone i am intrested in my undivided attention....but again that is just me! | |
