Soaked in egg
swirled
cream, sugar,
Sin of Man
Whoa!!! Man, whisk'n
Dip
Flip
Fry
Skillet lined in real butter of churn
Heat added to get the crisp edges, nearly burnt
Custard center
smooth, silkly curled to a tongue
anxiously waiting, peasants, with plates in hand
Here at home.................The aroma permeates the air!!

childhood bringing a picture towards

patton of white, shine'n souls
top'd with a bow
smile upon face, ear to an ear
laughter and singing, all in cheer
light is the touch of Grandfathers' hand
push'n me forward, tell'n of this promised land
A memory photographed in the mind of a child
