Let's say that from lack of interest from people that i find attractive, i decide to turn my attention to people that i'm not attracted to( at least physically).. so i send them messages and go out on first dates, but i soon notice that they reject me too!, the ones i go out on dates with don't want to go out on a second, the ones i send a message to never reply, so i wanted to know am i wrong for being mad and insulted because THEY rejected me?

For every white woman that is rejecting you...there is a nice black woman that your rejecting....I know several very nice african american women that is single , lonely..goes to church. The best places to meet nice african american women is in the church..they don't get on the dating sites ..the only thing I see is they are shy and humble. Try there....

Wow ... just wow. Sooo ... are black men not allowed to have their own preferences now? i guess we should all just stick to our own kind huh cause ... if we don't stick to our cookie cutter molds we are dissing those people that we are supposed to be most like?
i was really close to two guys in college ... one was white and one was black. They were roommates and my parents (bless them) met both of them in the course of my time at University. They were scared to freaking DEATH that i was secretly dating the black guy and really pushed to see me date the white guy or ANY other white guy. The funny thing was ... i had far more in common with the black guy than the white guy.
The white guy was on financial aid (nothing wrong with it but i'm making a point) and came from a dirt poor family who lived in a trailor. His parents were divorced and had serious incidences of mental instablity and substance abuse issues. They didn't go to church and had ABSOLUTELY nothing in common with my family. He was a great guy though.
The black guy's family lived in a HIGHLY affluent area in Raleigh very similar to my own neighborhood. His parents paid for His college with no financial help. His parents weren't divorced, they went to church regularly, and had no ugly skeletons in the closet. Our Fathers did very similar jobs as did our mothers.
So who did i have the most commonality with? Yep ... the black guy. But all my parents saw was social stigma and melanin. IF they had to choose between a redneck white boy and a black boy very similar to our family ... they'd have picked the redneck guy from the crappy family. Cause You know ... we gotta stick to our own kind. i call bullcrap. It's years later and my very old parents came around and realized how stupid they were. The white guy didn't finish school and has sorta made a mess of His life. The black guy did end up marrying a white girl and has three beautiful children, a stable marriage of 15 years, a great job and a beautiful home. My parents are actually very close to His family and kids now and they realize ... it was pretty stupid of them to say ... "He needs to stick with His own kind."
People are attracted to who they are attracted to. People who don't date people who look just like them aren't ROBBING anyone of anything. They are being true to themselves and those who think they are ... just ... wow.

Actually, I do not give a flying f*ck about who you would or would not date. But, I do find it offensive to read ignorant and hateful words that you find appropriate to post in the public forum. You would come off as a racist anyway, but when you say that whites SHOULD date only whites you are making a NORMATIVE statement (please look up normative in a dictionary), a statement that shows prejudice, ignorance, and can be linked to Nazi ideology.

What is ridiculous is to say that you choose your own color.
We are ALL born with certain skin color. By the way, it means that this is nothing to be proud of, because it has nothing to do with your own accomplishments. You cannot change your skin color. You are born into it.
But that's all there is to it. It is a shade of one's skin... nothing more. It tells you NOTHING about a person, other than what's the color of their skin. A bad bleech job and scary make up say more about a person, than a skin color. Hateful words certainly say more about a person than their skin color.

IMO it does. A person who matches your requirement can also lose interest in you in you state your requirement without tact. For example, if a man states in his profile "Don't contact me if your are fat", then even some thin, athletic/fit, and average women could lose interest in him.

You are absolutely right, the way she states her "preference" would be offensive to many men, not just men of color, so I don't discourage her from spewing her ignorance openly. It's a handy warning to those who prefer not to date bigots.

And for those of you who are ragging on that person who doesnt want to date black men becuz she isnt attracted to them,,it IS a preference so grow up and quit knocking on what someone else likes or dislikes. For the record, I don't care about race or ethnicity. It's one of the last things I consider I am pursuing career opportunities elsewhere where men are less shallow. I travel a lot on business and never have this type of problem elsewhre. I have noticed a lot more interracial dating and combinations that you rarely see in North America when I have travelled to London, Paris, the Middle East, and Asia. I see Asian men with White women, Black women (dark Africans who don't look like Beyonce and Halle Berre) with White and Asian men, Black men with Asian and East Indian women. You name it. This is but one small corner of the world. You might also want to explore relocation if that is a viable option for you. Good luck.
Back to your original question. Given the status quo:
if someone has racial restrictions it would be good for EVERYONE if they put it with their other preferences.....don't you?
