I seer-ee-ass-lee doubt it !!!
You can seriously doubt it all you want, but it still wouldn't make you correct.
Or incorrect, for that matter; none of us really have any idea. It's not like most people go around sharing the intimate details of their lives with all and sundry. For all we know, it was enjoyed over the years by that sweet little old couple in the park who have been together for 60 years.
And it's also not as if all people (male or female) who like this particular sex act desire it above and beyond anything else. It's just one of the many, many things to do while having sex. You couldn't possibly do them all every time you have sex, nor even want to.
For that study: I discovered "facials" (though we didn't have a label for it then) quite early in my long-term relationship, and I'm absolutely sure it wasn't related to any porn-induced brainwashing (this was in the '70s - the "porn" being watched by a couple of 20-year-olds like us was pretty cheesy - some nudity and lots of innuendo, but not at all explicit). It was a happy accident that didn't go wrong (I know semen can sting if it gets in your eyes), and we both found out that we BOTH liked the visual. We actually didn't partake often, but man, every now and then, when we were both in the mood ...

One of the two pointed out that people have *different* desires, and what might be right for some, may not be for others. The other one, well, preached. Can you tell which was which? Fun reading for a few, anyways. 
Personally - it's not something I'd do without being well aware of my partner's comfort level, and it's not something that I've 'gotta have.' But, yeah, there's been a time or two that it's just damned hot, as is occasionally on the stomach, on the chest, or other things that *some* of us may like, while others don't.
Then again, I kinda like spanking someone a bit, too, yet would never *hurt* someone I'm having sex with...there's a line in there somewhere that for me, just isn't able to be crossed.
