That lying to be kind is ALWAYS a bad thing? Boy, I tell my Father that the paint job he did on my ceiling (which didn't come out good at all) is fantastic. Poor guy put his heart and soul into that project. Wouldn't let me give him a dime, not even for materials. Did it for me. I'll burn in H-E-double-toothpicks happily when I lie about such things. | |

As to whether a lie is most likely told by a female or a male... seriously? We might as well be ask which sex pees more often in the course of one day. Haven't we had enough threads on here that put restrains on generalizations?
Yes, a woman will lie about her relationship status depending on whether who she is talking to and whether she can benefit from it. But doesn't a man do the same thing? So... what do we call that thing when a man says another woman that he is casually seeing somebody while in truth he is actually engaged?
Leave it up to folks to make such ridiculous generalizations when it comes to something as simple as the definition of a lie. | |

Not the serpent, who will burn forever! Do you think maybe God intended Adam to take the fall for his bride Whom he was responsible for? Maybe that was prophetic of Jesus' purpose to the Church! Man how can you blame mens guilt on the weaker vessal? I personaly would hope to be strong enough to cover my wifes sin! I also distinctly remember Joseph being called a just man because he first thought to cover his wife to be marrys' Sin or so he thought! I remember reading that Eve was seduced by the serpent! in other words Satan is the father of lies! If you want to bring biblicle history into play, you might want to do your homework! you lie because of womens weakness? Good luck with that! I try not to lie because of Gods strength! but because of my own weakness I have lied! God forgive me! There won't be room for exscuses when the time comes around! What if during the Nazi control of Germany, you hid Jews in your house. When soldiers knocked on your door and asked if you were hiding any Jews, you say no. Would that be a lie?
YES!
You didn't asked if it was right or wrong, you asked if it is a lie. | |
