When she had a bad day at work. I made her feel better via texting funny or sweet things to her.
when she needed someone to talk to I listened and gave support and compassion
When she would cry I held her tight and told her everything will be ok
Eat lunch with her at her job
Surprise her at work with a single flower to celeberate 1 month of dating
Left cute, sweet messages via texting, myspace, and facebook.
Did things I never did before because I liked her (example started dancing)
Took her to see Evanescence her favorite group
Text or call to say good morning and goodnight.
I'm a real sweetheart :) | |

Posted: 2/18/2008 9:41:03 PM | Yea - we still exist...lol And yea - we still do the romantic stuff. The flowers, the candy, the random notes & text messages, etc. I even climbed an oak tree last Christmas to get my favorite lady some mistletoe...lol!

I am always more drawn to men who open doors, pay for meals, bring flowers, etc. When I am being treated like this, my femininity really shines. I love true gentlemen, but I think they're a dying breed. I think in all of this equal rights stuff, we've lost the courting rituals that make men and women attracted to each other. Women are natural caretakers, always listening and nurturing others. At the end of the day, it just feels great to have someone help us to relax and feel like a woman. | |
