i visited a friend in jail earlier in the evening, then went for a walk,

as to Visit them , in Jail , On New Yrs Eve.

Yup - AlOne (sorta). I did have a couple 'visitors' , Drove them around - to a couple of stores.
Why is this (?) in 'Broken Hearts'? New Yrs Eve really isNT the 'best' night to 'hit the town'

I have Not went 'Out' , on New yrs Eve - for about 10/15 yrs. I much Prefer to Stay In,all SAFE, Sound. T R U T H.
At Midnight , i Like to ~KNOW~ , that All my LOVED ones are SAFE, all 'tucked in' for zee Night , Ready to Face .... AnOther year.
