| NEW YEAR ROMANCE RESOLUTIONS Posted: 1/1/2008 8:37:07 PM | Ugh. I don't have a "romance resolution."
I have 2 resolutions to help me be a better person.
1. Continue to improve my communication skills. ( This is a repeater from last year, so far so good-- but doesn't hurt to keep in mind as it helps life in general if you try harder to be clear and to understand others.)
2. All of life's problems can be solved (Read- comforted) by fuzzy animals. (.Marc, now with 35% more visits to the zoo. Good place for writing too...)

Ok guys and gals what are your romance resolutions for 2008
To actually have one ? 363 days to go....
On a more serious note, continuing to get my life in order one step at a time, then hopefully having enough extra cash by the end of this year (crosses fingers) to visit the Netherlands.
That's my gift to myself for getting it all back in focus.

| NEW YEAR ROMANCE RESOLUTIONS Posted: 1/2/2008 12:11:48 AM | crazycurlz...I have no real resolutions but you hit a nail there about just enjoying something when it starts to work...and I thought I was just a kid in the candy store having trouble deciding! This year: Evolve naturally. Let go. Take risks. Think outside the box. Scream when you need to. Sing as loud as you can while you drive down the road. Fly the bird at anyone who casts you admonishing glares! That sounds like my idea of getting around expectations and feelings looking in my direction. And maybe when I want to jump off the diving board the most is when I need to think it over first, test the water temperature ....or just wade in slowly. Keep the bandaids at hand. Tell my friends how much they mean to me. Although that is not romantic! Good luck in 2008. May POF bless you with many dates. A friend of mine told me you have to try on a lot of jeans to find the pair that fits. Happy shopping! | |

| NEW YEAR ROMANCE RESOLUTIONS Posted: 1/2/2008 1:42:31 AM | I'd like to be in a committed relationship, where whatever liked minded person I end up with likes me for who I am, and I'm not nagged to death to create a more stable ennvironment. I'm working on it.
Oh and to have an original film out by the time of the Sundance Film Festival. Not sure if I'll write something romance related or go for a straight up thriller. Working on that. Other than that not much of anything else.

| NEW YEAR ROMANCE RESOLUTIONS Posted: 1/2/2008 2:22:22 AM | my resolution is to avoid the stereotyping, expectation-ridden power-struggle that is the dating scene, to disassociate myself from that putrid abyss... because someone wholehearted like me will only get hurt... and eventually, corrupted... by it.
my resolution is to shine everywhere i go, to be in a class of my own. if love wants me, it has to find me. and if it doesn't... i will be enjoying every damn thing i do as a single person with a passion.

| NEW YEAR ROMANCE RESOLUTIONS Posted: 1/4/2008 10:48:04 PM | I resolve to never let a relationship get promoted above dating status, where it will screw up my life like my last girlfriend tried to do. Because I refused to take it up another level, she started getting whiny over the lack of an engagement ring on her finger, and so I kicked her ungrateful behind to the curb. Always keep it on the friend level. It's been my main rule for five years. Love it or leave it, because I'm looking after NUMBER ONE. | |

oh yea....make that music with piano in it too. that way i can play it for myself. :-o)

| NEW YEAR ROMANCE RESOLUTIONS Posted: 1/31/2008 5:33:32 AM | To find the one that's perfect in my eyes... and forget trying to make him perfect in everyone's elses.
My parents's primarely...
I do love them and I want to make them happy... fortunately I have come to terms: I am responsible for my own happiness.. and I can't make everyone happy....
Im focusing on me 2008. | |
