But seriously, I know sooo many people who have unprotected sex. Some are single and others are in committed relationships (having sex with people other than their partners). I preach and preach protection...but most don't listen.

I dont' know how many times I've said it in this thread but people STILL keep on with the same questions. I don't tell my friends about my carrying condoms. My best friend knows bc, well, he's a bit of a manwhore and isn't responsible about it even with all my incessant ****ing to him about the need to protect himself. So he generally uses mine when we're out. My exwife found one in my jacket pocket when looking for gum one day. She didnt' ask to go in my jacket...she just does these sort of things. No boundaries with her. And they are not in EVERY AVAILABLE SPACE!!!! Two different jackets, one in the inside pocket of each coat. Two total. If it's spur of the moment I have ONE glove to protect me. | |

In Canada we don't drive around in the winter without a survival kit in the trunk. Some do, but it's stupid! What if you hit the ditch and have no boots or hat or blanket or food or medical supplies or toilet paper?! Would you drive without a spare tire and jack in your trunk?! I mean you could call a tow truck to come bring your car or get someone to bring the tire to the tire shop but you'd be just wasting your time. I don't bet on the fact I'm going to get laid. I go to work and do other business it won't be my intention to have casual sex wherever I go. I have had the offers from women on the streets, but I, with courtesy refuse and or make an appointment for later(if this happens). I don't need to go around with condoms in my pocket because I'm not a promiscuous person that have sex with any woman wherever he goes. I've had sex on a first date a couple times but generally speaking I don't go looking for it on a first date. I let nature take it's course. I agree condoms are not 100% effective, but they are a hell of a lot more effective than an STD report! I really hope you were just being jovial or sarcastic with that initial post! LOL I pick and choose my dates carefully, and I am not the type to sleep with anyone for no reason. I do have willpower and can say no and have on numerous occassions. Many people are walking around with condoms in their pockets, inside their gloves compartments, purses and wallets, and they are the first ones to get infected by STDs or worst, HIV. Why is this happening? This is happening to them because they think condoms are like a "good luck" artifice. They think that just because they carry condoms they are safe from diseases. Condoms can break, you might not be using the correct size, body fluids can be exchanged from one person to the other without them even notice, condoms might slip out. Condoms are not "good luck" artifices! The best and safest way to avoid diseases is to say NO. Or at least wait until you are really prepared for sexual activity. Don't just go around having sex with anyone! Yes, it is good to take condoms with you to your dates, but why are you carrying condoms wherever you go? | |

I keep ONE in my inside coat pocket....and it's a small zippered pocket, for a cell phone, that nothing else is kept in there but that! I have a leather coat I wear from time to time that usually has one in the same pocket inside. I don't have a box of them littered in all my pockets. I don't go having sex with random people. Contrad*ck yourself much? Either way even if you are a whore being protected is the only way to have sex. Most women should thank you for thinking about not only your health but their health as well. There are enough men and women running around having sex without protection and that in itself is a lot more scary then most things in this world.
