I just wanted to ask, how will a woman react to a guy who won't discuss his past.
Well, I am definitely not interested in details or, worst of all, comparisons with the ex. But not talking about former relationships at all is raising a red flag. "This guy's got something to hide". Maybe spousal abuse - or worse than that.
As for my exes, in most cases the current relationship will meet one or the other of his predecessors anyway because I remained friends with them, and one is actually my best male friend. So the new guy should know that I've dated those guys or even lived with them at some point of my life. It's only fair. However, I would not reveal details, and I would never b1tch about an ex (and I have no reason to anyway - they're all wonderful men. It just didn'twork out). And I will walk the minute that a man starts b1tching about his ex.
