Lying matters whether it's age, height, body type, or any of the other hundred things a person can lie about. It's really more about self-delusion than lying. People think it's OK to lie because "they don't look their age". Pft.
I have found MANY men over 55 are the worst at it. I think it's pitiful and disgusting to lie. You THINK you don't look your age because you have 10-year-old pictures posted on your profile. Sorry to break it to ya but you DO LOOK YOUR AGE.
Be honest, be real and love yourself for who you are NOW. I don't care if you were an Adonis at 40. Who are you NOW?
If younger women don't want to meet you, maybe you need to fish in a pond your own age.  | |

Lying about age always backfires which renders any advantage one would think to gain as nil.
In the same token posting old pics is pretty much the same when dealing in an online environment.

You have to enter the year. You have two weeks to correct mistakes. Have you forgotten the year of your birth already? Or are you in denial?
Now I do understand that our 40+ crowd is approaching those years of having to deal with middle age crisis and the beginning of memory issues (I understand blonde moments - heck, I have 'em!  There is no drug or support group that can help those...LOL), but come on....

So what your trying to say is that they should be condemned for lying. I dont believe honesty is the best policy all the time. I do believe sometimes you actually DO have to lie. I personally believe if the lie isn't harming another person, well than feel free to tell it. Also if someone asks you a question that they have no business asking you what make's you think your authorized any honesty. I'm a very honest person by the way. And dont like lies either. But I agree with the above person who asked "who are you to condemn anyone". Sometime's you really do have to fib. | |
