| Vigil for...tiger at SF ZOO that killed a man.WTF? Posted: 1/26/2008 2:33:34 PM |
HOW the tiger got out is irrelevant. the ONLY thing that matters is the fact that an animal is dead because of some totally worthless humans. that is the tragedy
Your lack of empathy for the death of another human being is disturbing. Hopefully you'll seek some type of assistance w/ that personality disorder.
How the tiger got out (and the results of the its escape) are the only thing matters. This could happen again.
A man is dead. Any man's death lessens all of us.
The tiger is dead. No amount of blaming the victim will change that.

| Vigil for...tiger at SF ZOO that killed a man.WTF? Posted: 1/26/2008 2:52:06 PM | | Hey the Vigil is kinda silly, especially when a life has been lost. Look the Tiger, was being a Tiger and it was being a Tiger after it was provoked, and if they had not been tormenting the Tiger, they would still be here. It's like when some Jackass messes with a dog that's behind a fence, only to find that further down the street the gate is "Open". I am truely sorry for the Family's lost. But why on earth would you torment a Tiger !!!! | |

Torment tiger and he gets out: Get mauled and/or die.
I feel bad for the family's loss. I feel bad for the tiger. I don't feel bad for the kid who tormented the tiger and caused his own, and an innocent animal's death. Animals do what they are born to do; humans should know better. When you gamble with a wild animal, you just may lose....

admitting that you are disturbed is half the battle. at least you've gotten that far. thankfully, i am much more rational than you, so i know what is right. your belief that you are entitled to harm animals with impunity is truly psychopathic. i trust that you get the proper meds. get a grip clown. TATIANA IS THE VICTIM, and the only one deserving any sympathy

| Vigil for...tiger at SF ZOO that killed a man.WTF? Posted: 1/29/2008 1:11:02 PM | It's sad that the tiger didn't run back to it's compound AFTER killing the torturing lil bastich...it might still be alive.
I feel sympathy for the tiger, but no sympathy whatsoever for the parents of the kid BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T TEACH THE LIL TIRD PROPER BEHAVIOR!! Even my 8-yr old has sense enough not to mess with an animal that can eat him. His response after seeing the news was "What a dummy!"
I am a member of peta...People Eating Tasty Animals. I hunt, I teach my kid proper land management, and to use every part of the animal that you kill for food or to protect livestock/humans. Some moron asked me about the Florida Panther...I said, as long as it's not hunting my family, it can live in peace...the first time I see one about to pounce on a human, it becomes a rug. He was shocked..but them, some people are idiots. HUMANS TAKE PRECEDENCE OVER ANIMALS...we ARE the higher life form and should be good stewards of our resources, but not to the point of stupidity.

| Vigil for...tiger at SF ZOO that killed a man.WTF? Posted: 1/29/2008 2:14:47 PM | We can't leave animals in the wild anymore because we've over populated the world over. Perhaps if there were more sanctuaries... but thats more of a jurassic park feel I guess...
In all honesty there are people out there (me being one of them) that think the SF Zoo didn't do its job... It's sad and unfair that a 17 y/o idiot had to be killed and his friends slightly mauled, but hey at least now they know that if they intend on keeping a deadly animal safely enclosed then maybe they need to follow the rules. This vigil is for the tiger because many of us believe that it was the one being tormented. The fact that it jumped over a moat and over a 10 foot wall is amazing, terrible, but amazing none the less and shows how suppressed it must have been. Not to mention it was the end of the day, after having been gawked and screamed at, Tatiana <- thats her name btw- must have simply had enough and snapped. Anger makes us all do horrible things, and it also makes WILD animals kill, hurt- the equivalent to kicking and screaming don't you think?
