I also went to see Bridge Over Terabithia with a male freind of mine, he was astounded while I sat there with the tears streaming down my face when the little girl died..
I know.. I'm just a big softie

| Has a film ever effected you in any way.. Posted: 1/3/2008 4:05:19 PM | You know how some people have watched "The Sound of Music" over and over?
"The Graduate" does it for me. Every time I cry even though I know the ending. I still get on the edge of the seat when Ben goes upstairs in his lodging house and Mr Robinson is waiting for him. I still laugh when we hear Ben cleaning his teeth in the hotel bathroom. I still try to make Ben drive faster when he heads for Berkeley.
"The Graduate" - I have now seen it 21.5 times. The .5? Well, the first time I went to see it was when the films were run through constantly, no separate showings in those days, and we arrived early - so I saw the ending first!
"The Graduate" certainly has changed my life - if I see it is on the TV I will sit and watch it again, I will even cancel a night out to see it again.
Yup, that film has certainly affected me - I am now probably heading for an "obsessive" label...

| Has a film ever effected you in any way.. Posted: 1/3/2008 4:36:17 PM | | The film's Saw 3 and Romper Stomper have both made me feel physically sick though I only had to hear about the latter for it to do that and some horror films like The Grudge and The Shining have caused a fair bit of paranoia in the past. | |

watch-movies.net
If I had some spare time I sometimes watch few a day, wish I had more time for this.
I do not remember movie titles so it is not worth mentioning it
Tonight I went to cinema to watch Mamma Mia movie..
Meryl Streep was brilliant, absolutely stunning and the music in the movie feels very close

| Has a film ever effected you in any way.. Posted: 7/24/2008 6:14:05 PM | For years, I have been affected by film titles and the confusion caused.
I thought Silence Of The Lambs was about a strict librarian who specialised in literature for junior sheep.
Close Encounters Of The 3rd Kind conjured images of that tent on the village green when me & Nadine Richards were 12
As for The Green Mile, I thought it was a fantasy describing how theyd torn down Blackpool and made it into a nature reserve, or at least somewhere that human beings would like to visit.

Matt Dillon's character wants shooting for what he did to Thandie Newton's character, but later he saves her life and she recognises he is actually a good person, who for some reason did an obscenely bad thing. The whole film (whilst a copy of magnolia) was excellent.
Birth: Nicole Kidman for once actually acted, and pretty bloody welll too. The film tho reflects how people can believe what they want to believe, rather than look at the evidence that's in front of them.

| Has a film ever effected you in any way.. Posted: 7/25/2008 4:32:19 AM | I was lent a copy of Titanic by a female friend who told me to have a box of tissues handy.
I sat there for over two hours and there was NOTHING to w*nk over in that film
On a serious note, I don't think I've ever been emotionally affected by a film, fact or fiction (although I do admire the sheer brilliance of Pulp Fiction).
