I have a problem with what they would feel like. They can't duplicate flesh well atm. A friend of mine has a false leg due to a bike accident. He got a new one in Sept/Oct which is meant to be so life like etc but as soon as you touch it you know its false. Skin just feels all wrong though it does have hair and stretchy skin etc.
Also how would they make it warm? Would you have to have a big microwave and pop it in for 30 seconds to warm it up? 
Do you think they'll have a blockbuster robot store in every town? Rent your robots for 24 hours (prolly to long for most men!  ) give em a wash down with a hose in the back garden and take em back to the store! | |

Which is easier to change, people's attitudes to sex with robots, or people's attitudes to sex with each other? If more people were into meaningless sex, there'd be no need for a robot.
Personally, I'm not interested in a robot. Sex is about giving and receiving, sharing, daring, and caring. Even a one night stand with a person will be more satisfying than any machine. | |

But i dont think the present robots are appealing, nor the "sex dolls". In the future it will probably be different and also cheap so many lonely single people who cant find love will feel very tempted to try one.
However if they make them TOO realistic it will be awfully confusing, is the girl you meet a human or robot? Might not be able to tell the difference lol! so could end up loving them without even being aware of it lol! | |
