I don't think diets work, they make you more hungry, more aware of what your eating and whats 'bad' for you.
I eat little and often, don't pile so much on your plate at meal times, (and only eat whats on your plate!) .
You only live once, so don't deprive yourself of the foods you love, it just makes you miserable!!!

Just be sensible! I lost 2 stone in 2 months. Unless you are massive, if you lose much more rapidly than this you have either dehydrated yourself (as DerKunstler will have done) or you will be doing yourself more damage than you realise (at best you will be suffering significant muscle wastage).

I basically calorie counted. Bowl or cereal with milk for breakfast. Medium salad and yoghurt for lunch. Reasonable meat and two veg dinner. No snacking. Without being silly I was keeping calorie intake not much above 2000 cals. Then, daily exercise burned off somethign towards 500 more. That is something of the order of a 1000 calorie excess (more used than consumed) and it is simply IMPOSSIBLE not to lose weight. Scientific fact.

Oh I have something really good.

A DVD by Susan Hepburn hypnosis on Weight Loss.

It is really relaxing and it can get you to sleep but you do imagine yourself in that red dress

I am not sure about the hypnosis.. I have a strong will and nobody ever was able to hypnotise me but i do like this DVD

I have no big weight problem ( but would love to shine in a white bikini on Adriatic Sea !!! Is this ever going to happen ???) .

I have a bigger problem with smoking.

I am currently on more than 2 packs a day :( :(
