My girlfriend and I of four years had broken up and she moved out for a few months. Then we got back together awhile later. And the first time she came over to the apartment. One of the old ladys nextdoor stopped her in the hallway to tell her that while she was at away at school. I had a bunch of different women over to our place. They didn't even know we broke up, they just thought she was at school for three months. My girlfriend just laughed at them. As did I . lol | |

sooooooooo another neighbor down the street - actually, not the neighbor but his teenage son had a party last night. I live on a fairly quiet street, not much really happens here UNTIL this asshole throws a party. His friends ALWAYSSSSSS end up in a fight in the middle of the street at ungawdly hours (5:00 am this morning..).. Beating the crap outta each other and screaming obsenities. When they are not fighting they are destroying property. So far, my place has been left unscathed, but a couple of other neighbors have had garden lights busted, garden ornaments smashed etc etc. I went over this morning and had a talk with the kid, he gave me a "don't know what your talking about.. there was no party here" (even tho I saw them all grouping on his driveway). So, i'm waiting for mom and pop to come home so I can go tell them what happens everytime they go away. I dont' care about loud music, hey, i was a kid once too. I don't even care about loud ppl (once in a while, its a party for crying out loud).. but when it gets violent and destructive I have a BIG problem with it.
So, even though it will probably place me as a target for the next act of vandalism by him and his lil gang, i'm gonna talk to the parents. | |

'bout this thread, I've moved into a kind of old-folks home, very quiet, uptill now, but I guess you never know when new neighbors move in and what they are like.
Most of the people here lived here most of their live and really are old. Lovely people!

Even when I don't like the guy, I helped a neighbour when flooding occured in our area...ran a pump and hose over to him, helped lift out his freezer, etc.....but that's just me maybe. I always stop to help out folks on the road, if they need or want it. Was digging out some old guy from a snowbank, and he says "Are you (blank)'s father? " I said "yes"...seems this old guy knows my 8 yr old son...who knows everyone in town it seems.....Never met this guy before in my life.... | |

Posted: 9/12/2004 5:49:41 PM | I helped out all of my neighbors (even the irritating one) when we lost power for 26 hours (i had a small generator), and we ran a bunch of extension cords so they could keep their freezers running. still doesn't mean he doesnt irritate the hell outta me, guess your just a betta person then me yna6 :)

Have a big really noisey party, and then use their trailer to house all the extra guests who could not drive home cause they drank to much. Then when the neighbors complain tell them you thought it must be your trailer because it is on your property, and you have friends here ...now and they will be moving into your new trailer, possesion is 9/10 ths of the law! | |

fisrt apartment..neighbors would get into scraps and i heard screamaing at all hours..
then the guys acrross the hall had a scrap outside in front of the building..and put some guys head through the door window..i had to call 911..and an ambulance..i could see weapons..the cops weree talking live with me to expalin what was happening so they could know wether to arrive with guns drawn.Then when they arrived they fled. But i heard them come into the place accross the hall.
I called the 911 back and told the cops that they were my neighbors accross the hall. I couldnt beleive it. So.. the cops snuck up quietly..and raided the place. Guns drawn...and arrested evryone. They found guns...numchucks...knives...drugs..and this was directly accross the hall from me..my hubby and our new baby.
I didnt give a shit about our damage deposit...we left 2 days leter.
My mom in laws neighbors have problems with grop ops. The owneer chooses stupidly..and they keep on getting grow op ppl.
They also hace 2 pit bulls wich terrifys me. One got out and confronted me at my car door as i was putting my kids i nthe car. | |

She used to be a real nice lady. Her husband is totally annoying, a big pervert and a flirt. It's hardto have privacy in the backyard when he's home because he'll casually be doing something by the window that faces our yard or he'll come out and do some work...lol you don't understand,if you were a chick you'd wanna slap this guy so much. I know it doesn't sound TOO bad...but...it gets to you.
The ones to our left...the dad is not home a lot so the mom is always having a few drinks with "friends"...they're big time theifs too..haha We have a fairly big yard which is fenced in, except there's a forest in the backyard too, which obviously we couldn't fence...so one time she goes around the fence,through the bush,into our yard,steals some of our lawn care stuff (a rake, shovel,etc...those kinds of things...) and goes back to her yard. I marched over, knocked on her door after seeing our things against her shed, waved them in her face, and came back home to get my brother to charge her with trespassing....we already dealt with this before..her kids stealing from us and her wheeling our lawnmower into her basement..lol | |

This couple moved in across the street from us (when I was still married) and we actually had met them at a mutal aquaintence's New Years Eve party a few months before. The short of it was my wife became pretty good freinds with the lady. Over the period of the next 2 years he became addicted to crack, quit working and we ended up feeding their kids half the time because he would steal her paycheck to go buy drugs with. There was a long list of screaming fights in the front yard at all hours of the day & night, my kids getting the unique experience of watching him knock the hell out of her in the front yard one day and the final straw was when he broke into my house in February, stole a bunch of cash, my laptop, serveral heirlooms and assorted other items that could be pawned.
I had the fortunate knowledge to know which pawn shop that he liked to use because I had given the wife a ride to the pawn shop for her to retreive her daughters bicycle that the husband had taken there to pawn. So when I filled out the police report I clued the officer in on who I thought it was, why and where I though my stuff could be. He went to the pawn shop and sure enough the dude had went there and pawned the laptop for $200. Get this, he pawned it the very next morning and used his real name on the pawn ticket :) (I did get it back although it took 6 months to go through the court process to release stolen property)
I just can't see how a woman can stay with a person like that.....and the last I heard was the she had started using drugs too. How can you steal from a person that feeds your kids when they are hungry?? | |

I used to live beside a european couple, and although very nice ppl, very friendly etc. she used to sunbath in the nude in her yard (which you could see from my patio..)
she was NOT a tiny lady....

I couldn't complain really because they were very nice ppl, but man, grossed out some of my friends when they would come over.. not that they wanted to look.. but its almost like passing a car accident.. you just have to take a look (even tho ya know you don't want to)
