| What does I want someone to who makes me laugh mean to you?

I mean, that one that can't stop having animated conversation, laughing, gesturing, telling stories or how the day went and totally into each other? That's what I mean when I want someone to make me laugh. To hold my attention, to make me think "I can't wait to hear what he says next! I'm enthralled!" If my girlfriends crack me up and hold my attention, shouldn't I have the same in a man? After the honeymoon stage, after the sex starts to get.. a little boring, after your first huge fight, after farting in front of him for the first time, stuff like that, a sense of humour, or a lighter personality make it easier to get through the hard times in life together. At least, for me it does! | |

Someone who has a fine balance of humor and sensitivity definitely earns immediately points in this ol' gal's book! I don't want to be with a comic who is "on" all the time and makes a joke out of everything...serious conversation is necessary at times. I just feel life is too short not to enjoy every day.
Laughter is healing medicine and keeps you young. ...and in my book if the humor is a little twisted all the better. I love being with someone whose sense of humor is so similar to mine that once in a while you will see or hear something that....with no words, you just look at each other and burst out laughing...now that's a special connection. In my mind and heart there is nothing as attractive as a sense of humor. ....well, almost nothing.

Its someone who is able to ease tension and situations using wit. they have to be able to find the humour in things, but still have the right responses for different situations. I don't want some maniac who laughs at everything and makes jokes about everyone. Just some one whose humour i can share, and who can take as much as they give :) | |

I remember one time I was on a silly internet game room with the chat box and someone told a joke. I started laughing at the computer screen. He wanted to know what made me laugh. I told him and he didn't think it was funny. To the point we ended up having a huge fight over a joke in a game room chat box. So when I say I am looking for someone that will make me laugh I want someone who has similiar taste and personality who will be able to make me laugh, smile, and be happy. It's not that I want to be entertained by him, I just don't want to get bored by him after the honeymoon period wears off. was curious what you ladies actually mean.
It actually means we want a man who can make us laugh. Is it really that big of a mystery? People have different senses of humor, so what makes me laugh may not make the lady next to me laugh.
