INFP..... It is my understanding that many INFP's appear as extroverts to others, but that is because we can perceive and identify with other people's inner lives. We "recharge" alone, though. Serena Oak
Interesting... I think I am INFP as well (but haven't taken test recently) and I've had people surprised when I tell them I'm really more of an introvert. Especially was when younger. A loner who just didn't seem to fit in anywhere. I've spent a lot of time feeling out of place.
Over the years I have consciously cultivated the ability to interact with people better. Perhaps as a way to "fit in" but more often than not I still feel out of place a lot. Although I seem to crave being with people sometimes, I always cherish and enjoy my time alone. I've never liked being in a crowd though.

| Myers-Briggs Personality type...if you know it? Posted: 10/12/2006 3:40:03 PM | Thanks to A Bit Nomadic, I was able to take this test for myself. And like her I am an ENFJ as well. Read the write up on it, and seems bloody well accurate. Interesting. What I would be curious about is how the different personality types interact, and what is the ideal companion to each. If anyone knows I would love to read about that.
Have fun ;)! | |

Try reading "Please Understand Me" second edition. I think Myers and Briggs are two of the three authors. It is all based on Jungian theories.
If I remember correctly, I am an INTJ.

I took that cute little test once and it said that I am best suited for exactly what I did most of my life. Go figure.
What came first, the chicken or the egg? LOL

| Myers-Briggs Personality type...if you know it? Posted: 11/24/2006 1:49:04 PM | | I did the Myers-Briggs with work too...all personality types have some similar traits. If you took the course...then go read your book again...theres positives and negatives to opposites...but if you read about a certain personality type then you can learn first hand how to communicated best with them. | |

When I first took the Meyers-Briggs test I thought it was fun but useless. Then I took it again about 5 years later and scored the same so I am thinking there might be something to it?

| Myers-Briggs Personality type...if you know it? Posted: 1/13/2007 12:59:20 AM | Officially INTJ, although I would say INTP I 11 N29 T33 J 1
However, these scores include the effects of 20 years of me training myself to extrovert, and 7 years of university teaching me to be more judgmental.
People who meet me don't think I am introverted. People who know me well understand it.

High E, Moderately high F and J, and almost in the middle N.
Don't get me started on this! I was just guessing all my co-workers lately. Now I've got them all interested in it.

E - 1% (slightly expressed extrovert) N - 75% (distinctively expressed intuitive personality) F - 25% (moderately expressed feeling personality) J - 11% (slightly expressed judging personality)
There it is!

Hey, you stole my lines! Describes me to a "T", except that I can blame academic research as well as teaching for being judgmental.

| Myers-Briggs Personality type...if you know it? Posted: 2/2/2007 10:47:14 PM | If you think that your Myers-Briggs personality type is relevant to your romantic aspirations, there is a dating site that matches members based partially on type.
Since the people who run POF are (apparently) not in it for the money, and most serious seekers are on a few websites anyhow, I hope they won't mind the link :
