Posted: 2/4/2008 3:08:21 PM | Hey, the street may have been back that way, but I was the one that kept asking the guys walking down the street how far we were from the hotel........of course, they kept telling us, you see that great big tall building way way over there.........and I was like Yeah, and they always came back with, well it's past that........lol
Did I ever tell you my hobby is to go out driving through the country backroads to try and get myself lost. It's more fun when you have a group of people with you that thinks that you know where you are going. 
No hangover for this fishie, I think I went through that last hurricane and it sobered me up.........imagine that, after already having 48 ozs of hurricanes watching the parade and I go and get a 64 oz to watch the concerts and it sobers me up by 6pm. And then the stupid bartender at the hotel that took an hour (which I never did get) to make me a RumRunner...........even though I had 2 of them Friday night, I was really wanting one on Saturday night to top off my day I had. | |

The birthday girl had a good time and got some awesome beads. I am proud to say I was stupid enought to go and stand in the cold, walk 2 miles back to the motel not to mention other things that happen. Hey thats what us sista's are for! It was well worth being down there to help celebrate your Birthday  | |

Posted: 2/5/2008 6:36:57 PM | thanks guys and gals, I had an awesome time for first Mardi Gras, had a not so bad day today; got a 'happy 29th bday text' this morning and a phone call from a good gal pal of mine from back home (about 20 min b4 I was supposed to get up this morning )
went to work; rained all day, sure glad I was off yesterday to enjoy the day ~ went to dinner with my sis tonight and had choc cake with ice cream for dessert; we brought part of our meals home, you know we had to make room for dessert!
Had a drink each, due to crappy weather we didn't want any more. | |
