Posted: 3/30/2008 11:26:38 AM | For those interested in finding some music, dancing, food, and an overall good time for Sunday night is Jacksons. They have a band that plays oldies blues and jazz with some of the better Jazz and blues players sitting in playing different instruments or singing. The band plays from 7-1130. There is a 5.00 cover charge after 6 but if you order a entree that is taken off your food bill. They play quite a few slow songs also. So come out and have a fun filled evening and still get home in time to get some sleep before work.

A jump start for those who want to go dancing , during the week, and of course the weekends!
This Wednesday....HONEYVOX is at SKY LOUNGE! April2, 2008 is the date!
Starts at 8:30PM.......come dance the night away and it is FREE to get in!
This Saturday night at Generations is HONEYVOX....$6 cover charge ....come dance the night away to an GREAT dance band....April 5, 2008...off Watson Rd in So. County
Almost forgot...Thursday April 3, 2008 .......Ralph Butler band will be at SKY!
Keep that in mind also... I would like to try that some Thursday night!

Posted: 4/3/2008 7:43:48 AM | Don't bring me a laptop unless it has an wireless card attached. I have a computer there at the house, just my best friend doesn't have a home phone or dsl line.
I might be able to break away Saturday night for a little bit, but will have to wait and see. Her mom is offering to watch the boys for me for a while if I want, but I can't stay out that late (not sure what late is, apparently she doesn't know I usually make it home around 3 or 4 AM) and I can't exactly do that to her, much less be awake to take care of a 9 month old at 6 AM when he gets up. I now realize why I never had kids, I like my sleep! | |

PLUS if someone is 90 and can dress and look good ...and look like a 20yr old ...more power to her.....
I go there from time to time...and I really have NOT seen NO 90 yr old woman there..I think they might be at the Old Folks dancing the night away !
HONEYVOX is a great dance band and I am going there to dance....all the old MEN ..90 and older can just stay away!

I did forget Honeyvox, Jeannie is right, awesome dance band...but I just heard them last Thursday at BBB, so Jeannie, you're doing a great job getting the word out

Saturday night, not sure yet, we may be looking at houses that afternoon; not sure what's going on or where we'll end up.

So that is why I always catch up with them!

I like other bands ....but HONEYVOX is my all time favorite!
I guess I am addicted to them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Friday night I already have plans........so I will see you all if you come join me Saturday Night...if NOT ...............you just miss out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Posted: 4/4/2008 4:22:00 PM | Well I have a hot date with a 9 month old tonight (oldest one went to his cousin's house for the night), he will be in bed asleep by 8:30 so I think I will be stopping on our way to their house and picking up some movies from Blockbuster and I am going to have me a Blockbuster night. I have a few Smirnoff Ice's left from one of my parties and a few Barcardi Raz so might have one of them and I will have me a nice relaxing night. Anyone gets bored, send me a text since I won't have the internet to play on, but I still have my phone (and I get awesome signal, helps when the phone tower is across the street from the house). Tomorrow night I am still waiting to hear back from the kids' grandma to see if she can watch them and if so, then I will be heading down to BBB to enjoy a night out dancing with the gals. Won't be making it a late night though cause I have a 9 month old alarm clock that goes off at 6 AM, he doesn't know what the snooze button is or even that alarm clocks aren't suppose to work on the weekends. But he is sooo cute so you gotta love him even when he wakes you up at 6am.
I sure hope someone has some fun for me tonight!!!!!
Ambie, if you are looking for a cool place to go, head over to the Monkey Bar in St Charles, it doesn't really start getting crowded in there till after 9, but it's cool, and I think you would like it alot. | |
